As much as you are interviewing us on the complimentary discovery consult, we’re also trying to learn about you as a couple and what will be most important to you while planning and designing your wedding.

We’ve found that we plan and design best for couples who genuinely care about the nuance of the guest experience. This means, from the initial touch point through the moment they leave their hotel room back home. To do this well takes an incredible amount of time, thoughtfulness, and organization (which is why we only take 10 weddings per year).

We want each of your guests to feel cherished and special. We want them to relax into the culture, atmosphere, and party. We want you to sit back, knowing from the day you’re onboarded until you are traveling on your honeymoon no detail will go unnoticed and no corners cut because we care about the end goal as much as you do.

One of our favorite ways to create visual interest in a space is by varying luminance distribution and color. It is not achieved with a simple lack of uniformity but by using light to attract the attention of your guests to the moments that you want them to see and remember.

As a wedding planner, we know creating a visually stunning experience is crucial for a memorable wedding weekend. A few of our design focuses are light, balance, and color.

1. Lighting is an essential aspect of any wedding we plan as it sets the mood and creates ambiance. We consider light from the ground, eye level, and above you.

2. Balance & Proportion are another important (and often overlooked) aspect of your event, impacting guest comfort and circulation. We consider the weight in space, flow, shapes, movement, proportions, and interest as they all affect how a space will balance.

3. And color is also key! Whether your palette is neutral or bold, we think about how we will layer color with a cohesive thread throughout your event. Some of the easiest and most impactful ways to integrate color are the paper details, linen, florals, table settings, lounge vignettes, decor, decals, and more!

We’ve been so excited to share this bar I installation; it’s one of our all-time favorites and served as a place for guests to gather during the reception. Our bride loves Japandi style (a combination of Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics that are calm, relaxed and organic).

Selecting the perfect venue can be daunting! One of our favorite local partners is . They take the best care of our client’s, vendor partners and are always flexible with our requests.

We mention this because, from a planner/designer perspective, flexibility and wanting to work with us to make the weekend the best it can be is KEY. If you get the sense your venue has strict policies, you need to pull in a planner to start asking the right questions before contracting, or you could end up at a location that doesn’t align with your overall priorities or ideal guest experience.
