When your furry family canât join the wedding celebration, they can make an appearance on the cake! This year, quite a few of our couples have had custom figurines of their dogs made and placed on their wedding cake and we love including your pup this way! Plus youâll have a keepsake not just from your wedding but of your beloved fur baby too!

We always support a second look for both brides and grooms⌠especially if that second look makes it easier to party in the dance floor! These matching sweats gave Ashley and Jalen the freedom to show off all their moves!
Reasons to NOT hire a planner:
1. You are hosting less than 10 guests at a restaurant with âno frillsâ.
2. You have always wanted to spend the day of your wedding setting up things and managing vendors rather than getting ready and being present with your family and friends.
3. You have a thorough understanding of interior design, logistics management, catering, color theory, AV, a network of amazing event professionals and of course you are a project management wizard.
4. You have roughly 150 to 500 hours to devote to the planning process (this varies of course based on the size and scope of the wedding).
5. You love to make things as hard as possible for yourself.
Okay okay these are extremes but they are still true! Obviously we always think hiring a wedding planner is a good idea. Just like all the other BIG investments you make, you hire an expert! Weddings are not just a financial investment, but an emotional one too and having a professional guide you through everything makes all the difference.
With 2024 turning out to be one of the most popular years for engagements here are the first steps we suggest you take as a newly engaged couple!
1. Talk finances and decide what you are wanting to spend on your overall wedding budget
2. Solidify your guest list. Discuss with your partner who will be invited to your bid day!
3. Set priorities and must haves, decide what is most important to the two of you for wedding day.
4. Hire a wedding planner! They can be your biggest support in supporting all of your wants and needs for your day.
Our spring calendar is filling up fast! Donât wait, inquire today to learn how we can be a part of making your day as seamless as possible.

If you are having a high touch, experience driven wedding, hiring a wedding planner should be a top priority, but hereâs a few common mistakes we see couples make.
1. Booking the venue before the planner. A planner can help make sure you have a full understanding of potential costs, how changes to design elements of the space will affect your budget, and potentially even get you some upgrades from the venue. Not to mention they can save you a ton of time researching what venues match your vision, guest count and budget.
2. Going around the planner to book a vendor. Most planners are only going to recommend the vendors they know will do the best work for your wedding, but that doesnât mean they wonât work with other vendors too. We want to be involved with the contracting so we can understand the needs the vendor has and how those apply to the space and the other vendors involved. And again some vendors give our couples special perks but only if we are the ones initially reaching out.
3. Waiting too long to book a planner. Even if you just need a month of planner the best planners book out early and even when you donât book full planning most planners will have tools to make your planning process easier.
Our calendar is full for 2024 but we are currently accepting dates in 2025 and 2026. If you are looking for a full planner tell help tell your story through the design and guest experience at your wedding, weâd love to connect!
