On December 5th, 2024, we lost Clark Moore Bechtle. Co-founder of We Grow LLC.

For Clark,

I’ve probably tried a million different ways to honor your life through a post. Still, none of it will ever be enough to truly express how much I’ll mourn the world losing you.

You opened the doors that I couldn’t get opened. You built the things I couldn’t build, you made a safe space for me and so many others.

You taught me that bees and bugs aren’t so bad. And every so often we could nerd out about plants together.

We Grow is what it is because of the hours we all worked together, to make this dream come true. I was heartbroken when you had to step away from the business- but what better reason than you wanting to dedicate time with your amazing wife, Kelsey, and the life you two were building. Though we didn’t stay as connected as we were- nothing could ever change how I feel about you in my heart.

My brother from another, my friend, my “oh no, we’re not married” business partner. I will always honor you in every aspect of We Grow. You were a rare human, a soul so beautiful. An ally, educator, humanitarian, a really, really good person. Thank you Clark Moore Bechtle, for everything- I love you and Kelsey always!

Shouting out this amazing Mama! Over the past few months if you visited We Grow on Friday, you most likely had the joy of meeting Monica and Daisy!

As a small business it is extremely hard, and scary to entrust someone with your business and brand- Monica has done an amazing job with both! Not only has she maintained a strong relationship with customers, but did so while also providing care for her precious little Daisy!

The plants are definitely coming home for the Holidays this year! And I appreciate so much that you’re sharing and bringing friends and family in to do their holiday shopping at We Grow!

Small business is a roller coaster of up and down, profits and losses. But We Grow has always been about the people and plants! Although being a millionaire would be nice🤑😂

All joking aside, I’m so grateful to be able to be here in Scottsville doing what I love, and sharing that!
