❤Five years ago, Oct. 12, 2019 John and I were the first to wed at Chez Nous. With a dream and a lot of hard work we have been able to share our beautiful Chez Nous with so many wonderful couples. We believe Mary and Celia Heather, the sisters who built Chez Nous would be so proud and so happy to see their lovely home today. To all who have wed at Chez Nous and to all who wed in the future, we wish you so much happiness and Love CHEERS🥂💖

I Love the wallpaper! A John and Cheryl project, well mostly John🥰I did help with the wallpaper😉A nice refresh for our Barn bathroom entry area. It's amazing the little changes you can do that will add so much to a room!

Though we have no original interior photos of Chez Nous, we do have original architectural features still in place. Including the beautiful 3 pane stained glass window in the library. Also in the library, the original fireplace mantel inscribed for Mary and Celia, the two sisters who built Chez Nous, with green Italian tile surround. The inscription reads: NOTRE PETIT COINS EST SI DOUX, POUR VIVRE HEUREUX RESTONS CHEZ NOUS. From their heart, no doubt, translates to: “Our little corner is so sweet, to live happily, let’s stay home.” It is amazing these features are still here more than 125 years later!
