Congratulations to the newly wed and 🎉🎊 and thanks a ton for trusting us for their special day 🙏
We hosted a small wedding at the temple in Bothell for this amazon couple. Guest count was ~30.These two were supposed to have a wedding back in India with their entire family but due to COVID and travel restrictions everything got pushed out by an year. Hence they decided to have a small and intimate wedding in Seattle and reached out to us on 07/07 for” a wedding on 07/17. Yes thats right, we prepared for all of this in 10 days.
When we started planning for the wedding one thing was very clear for us, even though they want a minimalist wedding it has to be special. And we had to work our magic inside a temple which does not offer a backdrop of a lake and the added colors from all the lush trees around. We went to and fro through multiple color schemes, seating arrangements, coverups for certain not so pretty looking spots, bridal entry and so on and finally decoded to go with off-white as the base color and hints of rust orange to compliment brides saree. We chose roses and peonies as our flowers not just because they are our favorites ☺️but also because the colors we got in them were the best suited with overall color scheme. Since its a temple and a small space, we ruled out table chair seating and decided to go with our floor seating. The wedding arbor where the wedding ceremony happened was our favorite. We couldn’t have been more minimalist with it but still it complimented the bride and groom attire so well and the whites around helped bring them into the focus. I must say it wasn’t an easy ride for us, very less time and so much to do but we are glad that everything went well and we were able to make this day special for the newly weds.
