A win for Lu! We rounded out the regular season with an important celebration for our captain, and made sure she had to stick around for some more footy. 🎉⚽

Under the lights, on a Monday, the stadium was filled with so many emotions while the other sports ball team played in a heartbreaking Game 7. It was quiet for a while, enough for me to take my ear plugs out for almost an entire quarter when I realized the sad faces around me weren't for the football game in front of us (since we were winning the whole time). The fourth quarter came, and the fans came back to the party and erupted in the normal loud decibels of the 12s. We won, but the energy was one of the most unique that I've felt at Lumen all evening long. Sports are Sports sometimes.

I always try to tell as much of the story that I can within 20 slides, and with a game so complex in emotion and grit, this was a fun challenge. I aim to pick and choose what moments define the game or the story through my photos, but there's always a few that don't make the cut.

Summertime on the water in Seattle is a magical treat, add these two lovebirds and you have the perfect day. I love my job so much, especially when I get to work with couples who trust me and believe in me, so I can give them the best possible version of myself to document their special day.
