Posted • Hello Everybody! Kwabi here with some big humanitarian updates! I am currently in the midst of organizing an impactful summer youth feeding campaign called “All Youth Can Eat” Over the Summer, I will be teaming up with incredible restaurants in both Seattle and Tacoma to help feed College Students and Kids experiencing hunger! 

Currently in Washington State, 1 in 8 children are experiencing hunger, while 4 out of 10 college students reported experiencing food insecurity. My campaign is designed to fight hunger for all youth during the summer, where food insecurity is at its highest.

So how does it work and how can you help? 

Well, each restaurant involved in the campaign picks a day out of the week as well as a specific time frame on that day, where they will give a free meal to any youth who comes to the restaurant asking to participate in the program. Typically the restaurant picks low cost items from their menu to create a special “All Youth Can Eat” Menu so that the young person participating in the program can pick from a variety of foods. For those Restaurants who are not able to fully afford the price of servicing campaign participates, I will work with the restaurant to help cover a portion of the operation costs. 

Each participating restaurant can decide if they’d like to serve only kids 18 and under, or serve college students 18-24 (with student ID) or serve both.

I’ve already had several restaurants already come onboard and partner with me for this campaign including:
