About yesterday… @Tmobile’s largest event ever on the T-Mobile HQ campus was delicious, magenta-hued explosion! 🎉 We served thousands of tasty @tuxedosandtennisshoes bites including a different snack at each of the @markethallattmobile kiosks plus other fun treats from our friends at @mollymoonicecream, @nuttysquirrelgelato, @customkettlecorn, @pulppours2, and @hellorobincookies. Six bars and multiple DJs and photobooths were stationed across the outdoor plaza and inside Market Hall, turning the campus into one big happy hour party/club. 🕺 When can we do it again?? 😃 #TeamMagenta #MarketHallAtTMobile #DSquaredHospitality
Chef Mike's Lifetime Achievement Award
If you're a longtime Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes client, vendor, or employee - you probably know DSquared's most tenured chef, Mike Chase. In honor of his 70th birthday next week, Chef Mike is retiring from his full-time chef role in our kitchen at Market Hall at T-Mobile. 🎉
A little history:
Chef Mike started working at Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering in 1997 as a part-time cook (back when our offices and kitchen were at The Hall at Fauntleroy.) Mike then went on to serve as TNT’s Executive Chef from 2003 until 2015. Mike also planned and executed our annual, free Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Hall at Fauntleroy from its start in 1998 until 2017.
Through mentoring new cooks, leading his kitchen through power outages, storms, and floodings, to serving as a party chef inside countless homes, venues, and field kitchens - Mike has charmed coworkers and guests alike with his gruff exterior thinly veiling a big heart.
Although today is officially his last day in our kitchen, we look forward to seeing Mike at our offsite events from time to time. 🤗 Join us in congratulating Chef Mike on a lifetime of dedication to his craft and his DSquared family!
