Something free, something low key; Join us for our seasonal soft launch of the free meet up Explore! series on November 15th, where folks can grow their friendship network and learn more about themselves and others with guided creative discussions, icebreakers, and more.

It’s Grooving for Good’s goal to help amplify empathy; we encourage anyone attending to share whatever they’d like that might assist us in achieving a better understanding of what it means to be an empathic community. Drop a comment or leave a message of what you’d like to see during our winter series of Explore!

Our venue, Gold Bar in Capitol Hill, features great food options and mocktails, and the Grooving for Good crew will bring coloring books and a few board games too.

Tomorrow is the day we celebrate 6 months of Explore! at our new home, Base Camp Studios. Thank you for months of participation, feedback, and more which has led to today. 💙

Today, we wanted to share more about our guest DJs, and !

With two workshops, and over two hours of Grooving, tomorrow will offer a balance of learning, exploring, and socializing for everyone. 💙

Explore will resume its regular programming end of September, with a special outdoor edition of Explore! taking place August 10th.

We hope to see you tomorrow :)

Explore returns on Wednesday, May 31st at a new location: Base Camp Studios in Belltown! Finding a new home for Explore! means that we are no longer in a location where we are forced to sell alcohol, something we have desired since we began the endeavor. Explore! will take a break afterward until August 10th, so we hope to see many of you there.

Our special guest is NAMI Seattle, who will be facilitating an interactive mental health panel. Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence often find themselves intertwined, and in the spirit of better understanding ourselves and others and amplifying empathy, we feel it important to hold space to discuss the states of our minds.

Rounding out the evening is the core Grooving for Good family of DJs, Artists, and Vendors.

If you've ever been to Explore! before, we hope you will join us for this one as we pave the road to highlight our emotional stories in a healthy, welcoming, colorful environment without booze at the center.

Next Wednesday is Explore! If you haven’t already, we encourage snagging a pre-sale ticket as we hit capacity pretty early last month :)

With that, we wanted to start highlighting our crew for the night, Starting with Jyoti B. Fly, who will lead a highly engaging emotional intelligence workshop at 8pm.

During this workshop, we will experience how to identify and move through unpleasant emotions using our bodies as vehicles for pleasure, empowerment and play. We will explore how stories live in our bodies, and how to shift from stories of powerlessness to powerfulness, and from fear to love, using embodied games and exercises. Expect to be pushed out of your comfort zone in a fun and safe space, using trauma-informed and equity-informed fundamentals of neuroscience. If you have any access needs, please let Jyoti know before we begin.

Coming up Saturday, April 22nd 🌺 We were beyond stoked when of came to us to ask if we wanted to support one groovy Earth Night disco to remember at .

DJs for Climate Action use music as a platform to promote climate change awareness and sustainable touring/booking practices - a global initiative featuring climate change fundraisers and awareness events across the globe. We are the Seattle/PNW event!

We’ll be featuring some of our favorite locals, and proceeds will go to Conservation Northwest () , an amazing organization that seeks to preserve the beauty of our natural surroundings and prevent the impacts of climate change. There’s limited free entry before 10pm for those that RSVP, so sign up and join us for a night of disco, and climate awareness!
