When you first walked into my karaoke night 3 years ago I was blown away by your unique and gorgeous singing voice. Obviously we struck up conversation immediately and I quickly discovered you were also the sweetest and kindest person. You said “what songs do you sing? Throw on anything and I’ll harmonize with you”. This started it all, you totally reinvigorated my love of what I do. I had the best time singing with you, Garvaundo. You have no idea how much you inspired me and brought joy to my night. I really looked forward to seeing you at each show - introducing you on the mic in my signature way “Garvaundoooooooooo!” and watching the crowd lose their minds when they heard you sing. We got to know each other more over the years through karaoke, we built a friendship, we shared things about our lives. Working in nightlife it can be hard to form deeper connections but you made it easy. I’m so sad your time with us was cut short, you are a deeply loved and adored person in our community and I will miss you so much.

I had theeeee best birthday ever yesterday!!! My wife my wife the LOVE OF MY LIFE orchestrated my first ever surprise party and it filled my heart with so much joy I can’t even tell you 🩷🩷🩷 I’ve never felt so loved, I’m so grateful. I've been DJing and hosting karaoke parties since 2010, and it is what I live for! After walking out on my corporate desk gig as a CPA I knew whatever I did next had to be the most fun thing in the world, and it doesn't get much better than dance parties! I threw my everything into music, and I have even won two Washington State Karaoke Champion titles in the process. I have DJed everywhere from the club, to your local event venue, to a campsite in the middle of the woods.
