It's time to put on your wedding planning boots on and finalize some details. December is usually a great time to look at what you have accomplished and what still needs to be done for your wedding. Focus on finalizing any vendors you haven't booked yet. Wedding Vendors will get flooded with inquiries in January with panicked clients that haven't booked for the summer and they realize that their wedding year is finally here.

Here to put out fires. I always have these meal identification stickers in my emergency kit just incase, and they came in handy this year. Meal identification icons are required when you have a plated meal to show the server what you ordered. This helps expedite service and you can't rely on your guest remembering what they order 4 months ago... it also prevents them from changing their mind.

Here's a little edgy wedding inspo! These two made the day truly their own. They carved out sometime before the wedding festivities to drive up to Mt. Rainier. First look of the day featured a beautiful black bouquet from , sun kissed mountains, and a two piece suit with black veil.

2025 is going to look a little different than 2024 wedding season. I’m keeping my client list small this up coming year to focus on my little family and myself. My coping mechanism for my husband’s cancer last year was to focus on work because it was something I could control. However, he just got his 6 month PET scan and we didn’t get the results we were hoping for. Still a lot of uncertainty and waiting on biopsies to get more answers and an action plan together. Just know for 2025 that I’ll be taking a different approach and will be giving my attention to a smaller group of amazing couples. I find weddings so special, especially going through what I have gone through. Life is worth celebrating and going the extra effort of creating memories. Weddings encourage you to take a pause and be with all of your loved ones to celebrate your love and that is magical!

We had the pleasure of working with Prologue Events for about a year and a half (full-time planning and florals) for our wedding reception this past August at Chambers Bay Golf Course. From the moment we booked with her, Philadelphia was both professional and personable. She helped us navigate every aspect of planning a wedding, answered questions, organized timelines, suggested vendors, and became the go-to contact, keeping us on track throughout the planning process. She even stuffed and sent our wedding invitations, cut our cake, and much more. In addition to being our planner, Prologue Events also became our florist. Philadelphia created our bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces, helping to elevate and bring our beautiful event space to life. Every time we met with her, we felt as though she wanted to make our day as special as possible. She also helped us not to stress about the small stuff and reminded us that even if things didn't go as planned, everything was going to be okay. Philadelphia had so much going on in her personal life, but because of all of her experience, she was still able to manage all of the little details. Our family was so happy to be together that day, and we are so grateful to Prologue Events for helping to make that happen. We couldn't have asked for a better planner and florist. If we could give more than a 5-star review, we would! Philadelphia, thank you for all of your kindness, patience, and hard work. We are so appreciative of everything you and your team did for us. If you want a planner who is there for you, organized, will listen, and is helpful with ideas, Prologue Events is the team for you! We highly recommend!
