Thanks for continuing to do your part!
COVID-19 is spreading less rapidly than before, but it is still spreading every day in King County. Together, we are proving we can slow it down, saving lives. We need your continued effort to keep up the social distancing when out in the parks, and trying to go elsewhere in your neighborhood if the parks look too busy. Here are some reminders from a few Seattle Parks and Recreation staff members.
Looking to get to a park for a quick walk but want to avoid crowds?
- Google the park you're interested in going to
- Scroll down to "More About"
- Scroll down to see "Popular Times" so you can avoid the crowds
Please do your part. Crowded parks lead to closed parks.

Here's our mid-day rowers in action on a frosty November morning. A bonus: it features Margaret Rothchild rowing the new boat that bears her name!
