Words are hard…
…but hanging with you all and talking flowers? Easy.
Huge thanks to the @nwfgs for another year of floral fun, to everyone who attended my seminar for your great questions (and even better laughs), and to @carlyhenderson_ and @studio13onfox for helping spread the flower love even further.
Already dreaming up something bigger for next time.
Same time next year?

….and 100% wouldn’t have it any other way.
Wallflower? Couldn’t be me…
New website alert! Finally, a floral website that has some soul, some personality. It’s alive, breathing, and completely mine—intuitive, evocative, and unafraid.
Some of you will love it. Some of you won’t. That’s the thing about art—it’s meant to make you FEEL something. Floral design should hit like a great piece of art, not just blend into the background. That’s exactly what this site—and my work/life—is about.
Take a look. Stay a while. Or don’t. But if you want flowers that actually say something, you know where to find me. 💅🏾
I’m breaking up with wedding planning.
It’s not you, it’s me (Okay, it’s kinda you too...).
After taking the year off last year, full wedding planning and design just isn’t “sparking joy” anymore. So, I’m focusing on what lights me up most: the flowers. This is officially a floral-forward business, where blooms are the star and design is the extras sitting by the draft services table.
📌Here’s What’s Staying:
- Full floral design for weddings? Absolutely.
- Floral art in unexpected places? Oh, for sure.
- Collaborations with bold brands and creatives? Yes, please.
👋🏾Say Goodbye To:
- Full wedding planning—(except for 1-2 truly special clients or projects a year....she’s picky y’all).
👀 For my raw feelings about this (and maybe a few laughs), check out my Substack (link in bio).
My new offerings? They will be front and center here soon.
🚪Also, you know what they say when you close one door, you open up the pathway to another…is that a hint? Only time will tell…
1. We need some depth and dimension (and maybe a little fun) babes…
2. Your bouquet should not be upstaging YOU.
3. It’s giving awkward. It’s giving anti-social. It’s giving exiled.
4. I will not be explaining myself any further 🤣

It’s almost the three year anniversary of one of my favorite ceremony setups.
…and that’s amplified even more by the fact that this was NOT the original plan!
Sometime nature natures y’all and you don’t get what you order
(this is also why you should hire a florist whose vision and style you trust…but I digress)
But that day the floral Gods were looking out for me because they had so much of this beautiful smokebush in the cooler.
And tbh, I like it WAY better than the original plan.
The happiest of accidents!
It’s time to say goodbye to the studio.
Not because I won’t be in business any longer but because a business is a living, breathing, always-in-motion thing, and, well, mine is shape-shifting a bit.
I’ve been mulling over this change for months, and honestly, I’ve held on to the studio out of fear — fear of loss, optics, and the hypothetical.
It felt scary to jump in, and it feels just as scary to leap out, but I’ve known what I wanted to do all along—what makes my artist soul sing, what puts me in the “temple of my life,” what drives me to create with abandon… From a bird’s-eye view, the studio is a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit anywhere right now.
Many of you may be curious about what’s next regarding space, and yes, there are plans underway that I’ll share soon. For now, let’s raise a toast to a space that has nurtured my business and me for the last two years…
…and while this may seem like an ending, it’s just the beginning.

Thank you @ruby.chambers.94 for giving me a place to belong in your beautiful building and for being one of my cheerleaders
Level 43.
I’ll admit that 42 had me living in a bit of a scarcity era, but 43? 43 is all about that abundance, baby.
I’m redefining how I look at things this year, observing my own thoughts, and paying attention to what does and doesn’t serve me any longer.
Oh, and I’m diving deep into the gratefulness pool.
Jump on in, the water’s fiiiine. 🏊🏽♀️
So, same time next year? See you then!
…and honestly you’re better off for it 😎

Some of the best days of my life are earmarked because I spent them with you and being a mom to you both has given me more than I’ll ever need.
Happy Mother’s Day, folks!
Sending you loads of WHATEVER you need on this day and beyond.
