The safety of our patrons, performers, staff, and audience is our #1 concern at The Rendezvous & Jewelbox Theater. We want to ensure our community that we are taking the necessary precautions to protect our venue and those who visit it.
We are closely monitoring the developments regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), and are looking to The Washington State Department of Health and King County Public Health for updates, recommendations, and direction on how to safely move forward.
Here is our current plan to protect our community:
- Regular cleaning of high-traffic surfaces with alcohol-based sanitizing solution, including those in the theater, green room, lobby, main bar, bathrooms, event spaces, and restaurant area
- Thoroughly sanitizing all “high-touch" areas and items, including doorknobs, menus, and check presenters
- Sanitizing solution and wipes are readily available for patrons
- Antibacterial Soap and hot water is available in all of our restrooms
- Limiting garnishing cocktails to prevent surface to surface contamination
- Wearing gloves for any and all food preparation
- Working alongside our food/beverage purveyors to ensure the safety and handling of our products
- We follow the strict guidelines set forth by the health department. All employees are ServSafe certified in proper food safety handling and hand washing procedures.
*Unless otherwise directed by public health officials, all performances and events will go on as scheduled. If there are cancellations, we will notify all ticket holders by email as soon as possible.
As a non-profit and small business, we are incredibly grateful for your support during this time. If you're feeling generous and able, please consider making a donation to help offset losses incurred by the outbreak:
