dear client friends,
since opening back up in june 2020, work has been abundantly busy which is a huge blessing (thanks to you 💕) and if it wasn’t for all of the support i receive i wouldn’t be in this position to make these new changes.

starting next year my work week will be 3 days out of sunday through wednesday. appointments will be even more limited but with another annual price increase, it will create opportunity to a smaller range of clientele. deciding to minimize my clientele is far from easy but believe it is absolutely necessary at this stage of my career and has been a move i’ve been wanting and needing for myself for several years now… cause ya girl is feeling the burn out. through my *almost 12 years!* of being a stylist, i’ve always been ‘booked and busy’ but in order to continue giving my 100% i must turn it down a notch to preserve longevity in this industry.

i understand that i may not be a good fit for some anymore but please reach out and let me know cause it feels a little weird to me to not say bye 🥺. everyone who spends hours in my chair i value immensely and am truly grateful for your support + friendship 🥰🤝.

The covid closure earlier this year gave me time to really step back from my business and see where I would like to make some changes. These modifications include a new work schedule and pricing structure. With a price increase starting 2021, I want to make sure I share these changes with plenty of notice. (I promise this is probably be the last one for awhile🤞🏽—most of you extra thick hair/new clients are already on this pricing structure.)

I want to start by expressing my appreciation for you as my client—many of which feel like a girlfriend because we have such a long history together! Your patience and loyalty through the years (especially this one!!) is truly valued and I will always be grateful for you. I look forward to more girl talks, tea spills, laughs and getting you prepped for upcoming life events❣️ In return, I am committed to providing you the best salon experience + quality products while continuing to master my craft.

NEW PRICING STRUCTURE DEETS
Effective as of 1/1/2021
Appointments will now be charged by the duration of your service. This seems to make the most sense because every client is so unique and times for services vary for everyone. This will also widen the range of creativity while offering you a great salon experience along with quality products without any confusion of what services to select when reserving your session. Typical session times range from 3-5 hours. If you are an existing client, you kinda have an idea of how long your session usually is—if you’re unsure, just ask! Pricing/times will be properly adjusted by my discretion should your session be shorter/longer than what is scheduled.

COLOR + CUT SESH $100/HR. Multiple color/lightening applications/techniques + cut/trim/dust + treatments + styling.

CORRECTIVE SESH $120/HR.

PREMIUM SESH $125/HR. Appointments requested on my days off. This includes bridal or event styling, travel fees, color sesh, on-site services, etc.

MAINTENANCE
CUT $85
CHOP $100 — Cut for extra thick/long hair. Includes conditioning mask.
GLOSS $95
ROOTS $95 — 6-8 weeks for gray coverage; 10 weeks otherwise. Longer than 10 weeks will be charged hourly.
GLOSS/ROOTS + CUT $175

If you wanna grow your hair out, it has to be HEALTHY to begin with✨ Client came in with super long hair but ends were thin/straight (her hair is naturally wavy) due to multiple bleaching processes from being gray/silver which caused breakage. She thought her hair reached it’s growing peak but I educated her on why it’s not growing and she agreed on cutting 4-5 inches off! We also glossed it down to a rich dark brown so that it looks very natural as it grows out. I’ll see her again in December for a trim to maintain it’s health. She dances Tahitian and is committed to keeping her hair healthy in order to have it long and thick. Keep y’all updated 🧡 @ Bahtoh

This is why I call my toner a GLOSS✨ Chopped off lots dead ends and root melted (rather than toning everything dark) leaving the ends lighter. An old color looks brand new again!! This is what I mean by COLOR LONGEVITY. Lightening was done October ‘19 and still looks so damn good 😏😏 @ Bahtoh
