Hello Friends,
On September 21, our family will once again be walking in the Optimism Walk to raise funds to support out local APDA chapter.
We are walking in honor of Chris who continues his 26 year battle with PD. This year has been especially difficult for him, including some hopsital trips and decreased mobility.
At the National APDA conference this summer in Denver I was awarded the highest volunteer recognition by the National Board. It is through the support of all of our family and friends that we are able to contribute to this cause. We are very grateful for all of your help.

Happy Birthday Suzanne Cameron! Suzanne has been serving the Parkinson's community since shortly after her husband was diagnosed with PD in 1998 at the age of 39. In her tenure with APDA she has had a hand in raising more than $7 MILLION for Parkinson's programs and research! Suzanne was recently honored at our APDA Leadership Conference with the prestigious Salvatore J. Esposito, Sr. Award which is given in memory of APDA’s second president and in recognition of distinguished service. Awardees are recognized for exemplifying commitment, creativity, service, and leadership in the ex*****on of APDA’s mission in the local community. WELL-DESERVED!

The 22nd Annual Magic of Hope Gala & Auction will be Saturday, March 2 at the Seattle Design Center. This is our largest fundraising event of the year and one you don't want to miss.
