For those who are new, HopeChest is Seattle’s original Wedding Rummage Sale, where we offer gently used wedding items to couples looking for a sustainable way to shop for their big day—all while supporting !

Alongside the sale, attendees can enjoy drinks and bites in our lounge area, chat with local Seattle vendors, and bid on fantastic raffle prizes. The best part? 100% of the proceeds go directly to , helping women, children, and families on their journey out of homelessness.

I’ve been part of the planning committee since 2015 and have had the honor of leading this event with my amazing team for the past few years. It’s such a special cause to me, and I can’t wait to see how much we can raise this year!

Bella & Ryan 🧡

Post-wedding season means finally sharing all of the amazing weddings I played a part in this year! These two were SUCH a joy to work with, legitimately some of the best humans. The day was complete with shades of orange on a summer day, flower guys, choreographed HOTTOGO + a packed dance floor all night, the bride crowd-surfing, late night cereal bar, and the most insane downpour I have ever seen to end the night. Congrats again, Bella & Ryan!

Just wrapped up my TENTH wedding season (🤯) and could not be more proud of this little business of mine! This year was by far the busiest season I have had in my career and was made busier by traveling to & from Seattle+beyond for every event.

This season I worked with so many amazing couples, added on an Associate Planner who took on weddings of her own, and started booking weddings on the East side of the state. Ten years in and I can’t wait to see what the next years hold for Bright Side!

Lisa & Kyle 💙

From our initial consult, to the day of their wedding, these two were such a joy to work with!

We started with an intimate ceremony at Parsons Gardens (where their friend who officiated had a surprise scroll to read off of- see slide 4, it was so good) and then moved to with additional friends & family to celebrate! It was such a beautiful day filled with so much palpable love for them. 10/10 recommend!

Oh and bonus points to Lisa & Kyle for 1- being obsessed with THE cookie from like I am and 2- having some leftover from the rehearsal and sending me off with one at the end of the night.

Katie & Brian 🥀🖤

The most romantic winter wedding! First, we were at for the ceremony and then moved over to for cocktails, dinner, dancing, karaoke (!!), and dessert. This group had so much fun celebrating these two and I am so grateful I got to help with the day. Thank you, Katie & Brian for being such fun, thoughtful humans!

Hello and happy Tuesday! It’s been awhile since I’ve intro’d myself on here, and seeing as we have a few new faces following, it felt like the right time.

I am the Owner/Lead Planner for Bright Side Events, planning weddings all over the PNW + beyond! Currently, I live in Spokane, WA but make my way back to the west side ~ 1x a month for work, meetings, and seeing friends & family. This little company of mine turns 10 this year and it will be the second season focusing just on planning without another full time job. A few things about me:

- Hot take: I truly don’t care about Taylor and Travis. Sorry, not sorry 🙊
- I have an almost one year old pug named Lewis that I’m obsessed with
- After never having braces in my entire life, I just got done with Invisalign and loved it.
- Must haves on a wedding day: my timeline, phone/Apple Watch, good shoes, and COFFEE!
- I am taking weddings in Seattle through the foreseeable future, with no added travel fees for those getting married in Seattle proper!
- Favorite snack right now: been on a huge kick!
- Travel ju**ie to my core
