I (Tamara) just got back from a 10-day trip to Germany and Austria with the fam. It was SO fun (so many castles!) and also nice to step away from the day to day on the business to gain some clarity and be more rested. We all do our best work when we have a well-balanced life. I'm ready to get back into a groove and wrap up so many fun things coming up.
On my mind, where to go in Europe next year for some styled shoots. We want to show people what we can do for European weddings! Where shall we go?!

Did you know that we have a resident woodworker/carpenter on the team? Elle the Builder! Haha. We are here for it. We've done many freestanding walls, structures, arches, mandaps, es**rt displays etc etc. This is so fun for us to dream up with you!

With SPRING here, we start to get excited about all of the gorgeous local flowers starting to pop up. Sending out floral and design proposals (two of my favorite pieces of the planning process!). The sun is making more of an appearance, things are warming up, moods seem to improve with the sunshine here in Washington, and people come out of hibernation. I love this time of year!

One thing that we LOVE is being able to serve a family for multiple people, weddings, and events. We have at least 3 siblings (of past couples) that we are currently planning weddings for. We're like family at this point! Also, we get to work with some past clients for baby showers, holiday parties, and other events. The fun doesn't have to stop at the wedding 😉

The most dainty and valuable bouquet I have created to date. Lily of the Valley. There's a reason this flower has graced so many high-profile weddings. Grace Kelly, Kate Middletown, Meghan Markle, etc. Look at the beautiful mini blooms. So in love. Who wants one?!

This tent entrance! It's hard to tell from photos and the slope, that it's 20 feet across and 10 feet tall. Love a good entrance moment! We had chiffon draping hiding the reception from the guests until it was time, and what a fun reveal!

Mismatched maid dresses ftw! I'm always a fan of picking a palette, maybe even the type of fabric or brand of dresses, and letting your people choose what to wear. You can even ask to approve, mainly to ensure all are cohesive! We know comfort levels, body types, and skin color various greatly. Let them choose what's best for them, so everyone feels great on your big day! If people are uncomfortable, it shows in photos too!
