Mom is in town! The only way to get her to stop weeding, chopping, hauling, etc is to tour gardens and so off to Bloedel Reserve we went. It was a glorious day. Three generations together makes my heart sing.🌿

Vacation bound!!!
No such restaurants, wine bars or fancy clothes allowed where we are heading!

With us are our teens, our lab, boat , flip flops, swim suits, sweats and the booze we could salvage as about $400 worth crashed on our sidewalk as we were loading. 🥹. Aaah well- we are focused on what’s most important: one another !!!

Funerals. It’s often a gut punch when I receive a call requesting florals for a life that was taken prematurely. 28 is far too soon. Reminder to one and to all to cherish all the precious beings and things in this life. Open that special bottle. Splurge on whatever delights you and makes you feel aware and alive. Got bagels? OXBOW in Montlake, A SeaWolf Bakery creation, is THE place to go. Admire the florals on the coffee bar while you’re there!! Claire and I stopped in this morn for iced lattes which she ( a coffee pro!) proclaimed it to be THE BEST. When I inquired who supplies the beans, the barista told me it’s a small roasterie who operates within Seawolf and guess what they’re called? - A flower name, of course!!!
