One of the things that we are most excited about for our new event venue, , is the opportunity to get even more creative with our catering capabilities!

While we can create *almost* anything in a pop-up field kitchen, having a venue directly connected to our large commercial kitchen means we have access to all of our freezer & fridge space, all of our deep fryers and other equipment, and plenty of space for our brilliant chef team!

“We absolutely loved working with Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes for our wedding! Our venue provided us with a preferred list of vendors, and of the vendors on the list, we felt they were the most responsive and willing to customize dinner service to meet our needs.

They also went above and beyond day of wedding, making sure Bride and Groom were fed and had the ability to taste everything on the menu.

Our guests all raved about the food and had multiple servings.

When our contact Emily, realized we didn’t get an opportunity to taste our desserts the night of (completely our own fault because we never left the dance floor), she arranged a sample of our desserts to enjoy after the wedding.

At one point I needed help pinning my dress and one of the servers jumped in to help - the whole service team exceeded our expectations and really confirmed we had absolutely made the right choice in going with them.

Just knowing that I could expect a high level of service and dependability was a HUGE relief on my wedding day. I highly recommend using Tuxedos and Tennis shoes for your next event!”

We’re eagerly anticipating the opening of 4105 this fall, but in the meantime, our expansive, versatile space sets the perfect stage for photoshoots! Whether you're a Seattle-based event vendor seeking a studio for photo or video shoots or a creative soul yearning to bring your vision to life, 4105 offers the ideal customizable backdrop.

Last November we were honored to host the 3-day LCA Executive Summit and share our new venue with some of our closest industry peers and friends. Our team used every inch of the space to bring the ultimate Seattle experience within our walls!

We’re beyond excited to witness how our vendor friends and Seattle community will continue to use this space in innovative and exciting ways.

2. Industrial Warehouse Vibe And Unique Floor Plan 🛩️
The unique industrial vibe of the venue harmonizes perfectly with the energy of Seattle’s industrial neighborhood. We’ve also intentionally constructed this space to be a blank canvas so that any and every event can be brought to life in this warehouse-turned-venue! As for the floor plan, guests will be greeted by "The Ballroom," capable of accommodating up to 380 seated guests, while "The Gallery" will offer an ideal setting for receptions and cocktail hours. Fun fact: our landing bays, functional during the day, magically transform into our venue entrance by night!

3. In-House Catering By Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes 🍽️
As the exclusive caterer of 4105, we take pride in ensuring flawless service and a team dedicated to treating guests like family. Added bonus: our incredible chefs are located onsite in our kitchens just outside the venue walls.

! 🎉 Last night we brought all of our DSquared teams (from Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering and Events at the Works, to Market Hall at T-Mobile, plus our teams at Benaroya Hall,The Hall at Fauntleroy and the Russell Investments Center) to share company updates, reflect on respectful workplace communication, and re-focus on our company's mission to gather and nourish people through memorable experiences.

🤝 We gathered inside our new event venue, 4105.

🍿 We nourished our team with pizza, popcorn, cookies, and ice cream.

👋 And we cemented the experience in our building's memory by hand-printing a new mural wall in our warehouse.

This year's all-hands team meeting was our biggest yet and we are so grateful to everyone who helped put it together!

What an aMAYzing month with the ! 🧡

We had the honor of catering the Seattle Opera's 60th Anniversary Concert and Gala earlier this month, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

Our team set up 36 tables directly on the McCaw Hall stage where guests and artists alike dined after a late afternoon concert celebrating the past six decades of the Seattle Opera’s world-class production of both classic and new works.

Esteemed Seattle chef, Tom Douglas, curated the night's menu and, with his daughter, Loretta Douglas, introduced each course of his northwest-inspired cuisine on the main stage while our team worked behind the scenes to prepare, plate, and serve the dishes to all 350 guests.

The first course featured a refreshing Chilled Yakima Asparagus with a Slaw of Savoy Cabbage, Carrot, Mint, Dill, Basil, Lime, and Toasted Shallot. Then, guests had the option of a Seared Alaskan Halibut with Eight Bell's Beurre Blanc and Charred Lemon; Braised Boneless Short Ribs with Shiitake Mushrooms, Celery Root, and Fried Rosemary; or a Vegan Coconut Rice Bowl with Lentil Meatballs, Shiitake, Roasted Carrots, Bok Choy, and Scallion Gravy for their entrée.

The guests ended the night with a Roasted Hazelnut Cake with Olive Oil, Blood Orange, and Theo Chocolate Ganache, a Tropical Curd & Coconut Cookie Stack with Whipped Cream, and Fresh Fruit, or a Vegan Cashew Custard in a Chocolate Cup with Fresh Berries.

Despite the program running 20 minutes behind schedule, our team was able to make up that time by completing our plate-up for 350 guests in just 18 minutes!

A huge congratulations to the Seattle Opera on exceeding their fundraising goal this year by $500,000, ultimately raising $2.8 million dollars to continue their mission of inspiring and educating Seattle through the shared experience of opera! We are so happy that our team was able to contribute to this incredible experience!

The Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes team was honored to serve 386 guests on the *STAGE* of the Seattle Opera for their 60th Anniversary Concert & Gala!

The glamourous birthday bash celebrated the past 6 decades of the Seattle Opera's world-class productions of both classic and new works, beginning with a star-studded concert conducted by Kazem Abdullah.

Following the concert, guests were treated to a gala dinner with the artists on the stage of McCaw Hall!

The night featured an unforgettably delicious dinner designed by celebrated Seattle chef, Tom Douglas Restaurants, and expertly executed by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering and Events.

We are still all AGLOW from Pratt's 2024 Fine Art Auction on Saturday 💡⚡
To help Pratt's menu shine bright this year, we invented some radiant dishes and drinks including:

- Black Cocoa & Passionfruit Tartlets (served on Kaleidoscope Plates atop glow sticks)

- Signature Cocktail: "Homemade Zima" with Tito's Vodka, Lemon & Lime Juice, Soy Milk Wash & Mint dusted with edible glitter ✨

- Whipped Feta Toast with Shaved Shallot & Cucumber Salsa (Did you know that cucumbers glow under a black light? 😱)

- Lamb Meatballs with Mint & Apricot Glaze (also served above acrylic trays with glow stick necklaces)

Melrose Market, the Capitol Hill block that now houses an indoor food & retail market, including Melrose Market Studios event space, was originally constructed as automotive buildings, built between 1919 and 1926.

Completely refurbished, but still distinctly urban, Melrose Market Studios reflects the history of Seattle with exposed red brick walls, huge Douglas fir beams, high ceilings and a polished concrete floor.

The 5,000 square-foot space accommodates up to 200 guests and can be divided by in-house curtains to form smaller, more intimate areas. Dimmable lighting, Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, and a plug-and-go sound system are a few of the amenities that make Melrose Market Studios an ideal venue for weddings, product launches, conferences, art shows, auctions, holiday parties, and other special events.
