At Pacific Engagements, we recognize that even the best-planned events can face unexpected obstacles that require adaptability.

When rain and high winds threatened Beau and Katy’s , we smoothly adjusted their plans, relocating the reception location while preserving the PNW charm of their celebration. Though we all would have preferred an setting, our priority was keeping the couple and their guests comfortable, warm, and dry. Working with the Suncadia Resort team, we moved the reception to a tent that still offered guests views of the Pacific Northwest’s beauty.

Our expertise ensures that your celebration remains seamless and true to your vision, no matter what challenges arise.

It is a top priority of ours to cultivate intimacy despite the size of your event space. By incorporating a multitude of lounge seating arrangements, guests tend to relax and settle into those spaces longer so they can comfortably mingle while not completely removing themselves from the livelier festivities!

For this set up at , we mixed upholstered furniture with tall credenzas, barstools, and bistro tables so all ages could choose their perfect gathering spot within the same room 🤍

That distant rain cloud SHOWERED the newlyweds with good luck at their Suncadia Resort wedding.

Though the high winds taking out the ceremony music power + moving the idyllic Al fresco meadow reception into the tent was not the dream, these two are the dream.

They perfectly exemplified what it looks like to support and reassure one another during non-ideal moments in life. Seeing their small gestures of holding hands or placing a hand on a shoulder spoke volumes of how strong their relationship is, and how strong their marriage will be.

A quick thank you to all of our wedding couples - past + present - who have ensured their trust in us over the years.

Pacific Engagements started back in 2016 to offer the foresight, expertise, + support that couples need going into their wedding days, + thanks to all of our amazing brides + grooms, we’ve accomplished so much more than that.

We love you all!! And it’s been exceptionally fulfilling to continue experiencing full-circle moments where we are seeing some of you now as wedding guests of your co-workers, cousins, siblings, friends…the list goes on.

Y’all have made this career so rewarding. Thank you 100 times over 🙏🏽

When the bride is a wedding planner, who plans the wedding? 🤔

People keep asking us that + the answer is probably different for each planner out there. In this instance, I [Alyssa] planned my own wedding, but Taytum Kreutzer graciously executed + managed the day.

We agreed that once she arrived that morning, she would take over + I would switch into the “bride” role 😂 I was worried that I would struggle with just being present + enjoying the day, but Taytum took care of everything so well that I was successfully able to let go - which is a planner’s DREAM.

She was invaluable to myself, my partner, and our families. From working alongside each other on the Pacific Engagements team for years, I knew she takes great care of our clients + their wedding guests. But being on the receiving end of Taytum’s customer service was truly special. We felt very loved + cared for 🤍
