Mode Music Studios has been a staple in the West Seattle Music Community and have helped build such a strong foundation of music education for students on this side of the city. I know many of Mode's students have graced our stage and we're so much the better for it - Please consider helping them in their time of need as they look to relocate, quickly and effectively as to not take away any lesson time with their students!

Sad to inform our audience that tonight’s Great Aunt show is cancelled.
They’re safe and warm as they weather this storm and we’re already looking towards the next time we can have them on our stage.

Please go listen to them on whatever streaming service you use. Buy their new single on Bandcamp that was just released yesterday!

It’s been a while! First and foremost, we’d like to extend an amazing Thank You to all of our friends, fans, and West Seattle Family for giving us an amazing start to the Halls 110th year!

This April Kenyon Hall is putting on a spring fundraising drive to raise money for maintenance to the building. Our goal is to raise enough to fund new siding on the south wall of the building, repair a water-damaged portion of the roof and to buy new doors for the building. With just subscriber support we’ve already almost reached half of our goal!!

Right now your donations are more important than ever as we recover financially from two years without shows or classes.

We thank you for your generosity and support.

Please donate, share, and if interested subscribe to our monthly newsletter to stay current with what’s going on at the Kenyon Hall.

Ryegrass
July 30, 2022 at 7:30 PM

Kenyon Hall is VERY happy to bring back a Bluegrass band that's been entertaining Northwest audiences since their first gig in 2001 at a used clothing store in Duvall. Having risen quickly from their modest beginnings, Ryegrass continues to perform all over the region in festivals, farmers' markets, and fairs. Members of the band are Gray Pederson (bass), Paul Michel (mandolin, dobro, and vocals), Jim Hanna (guitar and vocals), John Burke (fiddle and vocals), and Steve Marx (banjo and vocals).

In describing their act, they write, "We have a lot of laughs playing together; at this stage in life, Ryegrass is a perfect combination of tradition, singer-songwriting, and men's group." We're delighted to welcome them back to once again raise our roof.

TICKETS FOR RYEGRASS ARE $15 Adults, $10 Seniors (ages 55+) and $10 Students (ages 6-18). Kids 5 and under come for free!

TO RESERVE YOUR RYEGRASS TICKETS: Email [email protected] with your name and the number and type of tickets desired. When your email is received, you will receive a confirmation email in response.

Seattle Artists THANK YOU, our Kenyon Hall patrons, for your generosity. The donations you provide keep us moving forward as we recover from the enforced hiatus of the covid pandemic. Your continued support insures our vitality in the future. Visit www.kenyonhall.org to make your tax deductible contribution.

TONIGHT AT KENYON HALL! - Tickets available at the door!

THE GO JANES - WITH AUNTMAMA
Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 7:30 PM

The Go Janes have decades of experience as performers, visual and recording artists, community organizers, educators, and inquisitive consumers of life. Arni and Patrice are members of the satirical trio Uncle Bonsai; Kathleen is an accomplished solo artist and community choir director. Patrice also produces the Wintergrass Festival. The Go Janes share the stage with Seattle "Living Legacy" Auntmama (aka MaryAnne Moorman) and her tales of ancestry/legacy, social justice, and her delightfully idiosyncratic family, relayed with a master's sense of timing. Vocal harmonies, harp-like ukes and guitar, and textural variety create an evening of insightful beauty and humor.

TICKETS ARE $15 Adults, $10 Seniors (ages 55+) and Students (ages 6-18)*

Walk-ups welcome!

It's been a year since we lost our dear Louis Magor, manager and constant inspiration at Kenyon Hall. WHAT A LOVELY GIFT WE FOUND ON THE PORCH THIS WEEK - the pictured bouquet is a bright reminder of our loss, but also of the beauty that was Lou. We, the Board of Directors, are motivated every day to keep the joy that Lou brought to the Hall present in everything we do here. Our sincere thanks to all of you who continue to sustain us through your gifts of financial support as we slowly reopen to public performance! Visit our website to make reservations for our upcoming shows. We can't wait to see you at Kenyon Hall.
