Bay Area, we love you!

B+K’s wedding at with and was the best kick off into the San Francisco market.

While we’re no strangers to the Bay Area, I took time last year to tour venues and meet up with vendors to familiarize myself. Thank you, , for hopping around with me!

My (immediate) response: bet

I had the best time getting to know Maggie + Ishmael over the past five months (yes, we planned their entire wedding in five months!) and knowing more about them helped me when working on their design. When you’re creating something new, it’s difficult to completely transfer every visual in your mind over to the client to get the buy-in. Lucky for me, Maggie and Ishmael said we trust you, go for it. And we did.

Leading up to the day, Ishmael would send me reels of guests walking into wedding receptions with their jaws opened and in awe. I wanted to create that feeling for them for every part of their day. I’m so happy was able to capture their reactions during the room reveal because that’s how I know I hit my mark. Jaw dropped and in awe.

Maggie + Ishmael, thank you so much for the trust. On behalf of the whole team, we had so much fun creating and executing your day with and for you 💙

Let’s talk about welcome parties!

Especially if you have a lot of guests coming into town, welcome events are a great way for guests to meet other wedding guests and for you to spend more time with those who you don’t get to see as often as you’d like.

Personally, I don’t think anyone will complain about keeping the party going all weekend long 😏🕺🏻
