After curating the ex*****on and design for a C-Suite marketing event in Seattle this past February, our client invited us to help them rebuild a similar experience for their customers in Boulder, CO. ⁠

We managed all aspects including sourcing local cuisine, entertainment and dessert offerings.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the mountains, we weaved jewel tones and natural wood elements into our design to create a warm and welcoming experience.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening and especially enjoyed American high-altitude mountaineer, Ed Viesturs as the featured speaker.⁠

From giant letters made out of baseballs to centerpieces stuffed with real peanuts, we had a blast taking this baseball-themed event in T-Mobile Park and running with it! ⚾💨⁠

The Alaska Airlines Milestone event for over 2000 guests celebrated employees who have been with the company for 10-55 years. ⁠
⁠
To honor these dedicated employees in true Seattle Mariners style, we created a walkable Hall of Fame, showcasing each anniversary year for the employees.⁠
⁠
Guests also enjoyed walking through multiple light tunnels that greeted them upon arrival, adding another layer of fun and interaction.⁠
⁠
We loved incorporating our venue into the event’s theme through each detail, down to featuring bounties of ballpark snacks as centerpieces! 🍿🍬⁠

This elevated, 5-course menu, designed and executed by the Westin Seattle’s culinary team, was a highlight of the Esprit Awards Gala. 🌿✨

The evening’s edible adventure in our “Celestial Garden” began with the reception, where appetizer trees offered hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were served from our custom living plant bars.

Each course of the seated dinner was served on specialty china from CORT Party Rental, paired with the Urban Slate Flatware and Ariana Black Goblets.

We especially loved the Intermezzo, which featured a sorbet course presented in a leaf-shaped ice bowl carved by Creative Ice.

As fellow event and hospitality professionals, it felt fitting to celebrate these culinary works of art with a round of applause for the chef team! Food is always such an important part of every event, but the behind-the-scenes culinary teams are rarely given recognition for their work. The standing ovation for the chefs from a room full of event industry professionals was a special moment for everyone present. 👏👏👏

We always love going to Philadelphia to produce the city’s oldest and most enduring charitable event, Temple Health’s Acres of Diamonds Gala. This Citizens Bank Park takeover for 1000 attendees was definitely a grand slam!⁠

The larger-than-life event included an Honoree Reception, on-field presentation, dinner, and dance party. Upon entering the venue, guests were greeted by stilt walkers, the Temple University Pep Band and Cheerleaders (the Diamond Gems).⁠

From their stadium seats, guests enjoyed a short program and presentation before an invitation to walk the warning track and heading to dinner on the 3rd Base Plaza and Concourse. Interactive activities throughout the evening included a silent auction, step & repeat, batting practice, photo ops with Stella The Owl, the Phillie Phanatic and retired Philadelphia Phillies player, Ryan Howard. To finish off the night, guests shook the room with Philadelphia’s own DJ Jazzy Jeff!⁠

To design an event that doesn’t produce floral waste, opt for living plants. 🪴 Bonus points for decor that doubles as gifts for your event guests to take home at the end of the night!⁠

Our client wanted to use lush plants in their gala design but didn’t want to waste them after the event. So, we created a live plant wall (consisting of over 400 locally grown plants) with individual plant holders specifically designed to allow guests to easily reach in and pull out their favorite plants.⁠

The guests absolutely loved this interactive design element, and every single plant found a forever home that night. 💚⁠

The 2024 Party to End MS led guests on an epic Eras Tour, Beatles style! ✌️ Look 3: Magical Mystery Tour 🌈🎉

Colorful linens in paisleys and sparkles were topped with equally colorful floral arrangements for the main program and dessert course in the “Magical Mystery Tour Space”.

The after party that followed featured a show-stopping dance floor wrap by Visionary Vinyl Designs. In case the theme wasn’t clear, light up marquee letters spelling GROOVY lit up the stage where DJ Disco Vinny kept the good times rollin’.

Even with 3 event designs, numerous event vendors, and an exploding guest count, our team produced the event under budget - allowing for a revenue surplus! The event raised a total of $827,000 - exceeding the goal by $177,000!

The 2024 Party to End MS led guests on an epic Eras Tour, Beatles style! ✌️ Look 2: Yellow Submarine ⚓✨

We transformed the cocktail & dinner space by drenching the room in yellow decor - from the lounge furniture and raffle to the bar and food stations infused with Beatles lore.

Roaming entertainers invited guests to pick a yellow napkin from a napkin dress or an appetizer from the Yellow Submarine LED snack skirt.

For an additional interactive moment, we created a “Fishing for a Yellow Submarine” game. 🪝

The 2024 Party to End MS led guests on an epic Eras Tour, Beatles style ✌️ ☮️ 🎵

The dinner, auction, and after party raised funds for MS Society’s research, services and programs, helping further their vision of a world free of MS.

We brought the party-goers on a journey through three different Beatles albums, starting right when they arrived:

Look 1: Abbey Road 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

The registration lobby welcomed guests with tray-passed champagne and hors d’oeuvres surrounded by cocktail tables topped with Abbey Road vinyl replicas, plus additional green apples in reference to the vinyl’s album art. A grand Abbey Road photo op featured life-size cutouts of the Beatles for guests to pose with!

We love working with on their annual fall gala, and this year we had the additional honor of partnering with their team on their Champions of Inclusion Luncheon!

The event celebrated volunteerism and raised funds for Special Olympics Washington’s Beyond Gold Campaign.

The event moved to a new Seattle venue, Victory Hall. Located right across from T-Mobile park, the venue’s location tied perfectly to the organization’s sports-focused mission!

We worked with the catering team at Hatback Grille to design a ballpark-inspired, family-style meal of sliders, soft pretzels, and even Cracker Jacks for dessert.

The guests (and our team included!) were particularly moved by the event’s keynote speaker, Danielle Liebl, a SOWA board member who lives with cerebral palsy. She shared her story of academic discrimination as a child and how Special Olympics volunteers changed her life’s trajectory. She was invited by President Obama to speak at the White House and that experience ultimately led her to pursue a career in law. Danielle is now corporate counsel for Amazon Web Services and an advocate for social inclusion for people of all abilities.

Congratulations to Special Olympics Washington on hosting such an inspiring event!

Another record-breaking fundraising event! Tolo Events helped Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center raise $570,000 at their Reins of Life Gala this April 🐎🩶

Tolo Events designed an elevated look for the cocktail reception and dinner and added a fun cowboy wine pull and themed photo op.

One of our favorite parts of the event was elevating the Walk of Little Bit - a timeline and history of Little Bit, along with bid sheets to help support smaller items like bags of carrots for the horses. This activity was a great success and raised more money than ever before!

Live auction tip: DO bring a 10 year old participant on stage to share their story and then help the auctioneer read off bid card numbers during Fund a Session - cutest moment of the night!

Tolo Events goes country 🤠 Our Lasso Lounge brought the honky-tonk to haute couture at the 2024 Bellevue SquareBellevue Collection Merchant’s Party!

This event featured numerous guest activities including:
- A photo booth with a downtown Nashville backdrop.
- Craft stations where guests could design their own cowboy hat, bandana, bolo tie, or t-shirt (using an on-site printing press!)
- Line dancing & lasso lessons.
- Mega-sized horseshoe toss & many wooden tabletop games.
- Delicious BBQ bites including a “Down-Home Dessert” station.

And what would a Nashville event be without a little live music? 🎵 We brought in Americana-western songstress Miller Campbell to keep the party rockin’!
