Seattle Parks and Recreation is offering TWO amazing funding programs!

If you're a community member, organization, small business, or group with ideas for engaging recreation activities, this is for you. Apply for the 2025 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 or 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥 grants and receive up to $15,000 to bring your programming ideas to life across Seattle!

Great news!

Facility repair crews have completed all safety system checks and Magnuson Community Center will re-open on Monday, January 6, 2025. We will resume our normal operating hours as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 2pm-9pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 9am-8pm
Saturday: 10am-5pm

We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Magnuson Community Center is currently CLOSED (12/17) due to fire damage that occurred in the theater located in the same building. Crews need to remove some water in the basement and then get fire alarms/sprinklers reset before staff and public can use the building. We expect this to take a few more days. Please check back here for updates or contact the community center for more information.

The 1st Annual NE Seattle Senior Resource Fair is happening on Tuesday, October 29 from 11am to 3pm at Hangar 30, Magnuson Park.

Join us on Saturday,October 19 from 1pm-4pm for Seattle Parks and Recreation's Annual Week Without Violence Teen Celebration! This event will be located at Southwest Teen Life Center – 2801 SW Thistle St. Seattle Wa. 98126.
