This 10,000 sqft multi-use space is housed in the historic 125-year-old Globe Building in the heart of Pioneer Square. It is an axis p

oint for events, history, art, culture, and photography in Seattle. AXIS Pioneer Square is among the largest non-traditional venues in Seattle and a great alternative to hotel ballrooms everywhere. The exposed brick walls, wood floors, and archways of AXIS make for the perfect setting for every event imaginable. With 10,000sqft of space to play with between the Main Space & newly opened Corner Gallery the venue is the perfect example of "versatile." AXIS can accommodate intimate gatherings of 20 - 40 people or larger scale events up to 550 people. AXIS is not only an event space, but its galleries showcase local artists rotating every two months and are featured each month during Art Walk. First Thursday in Pioneer Square is a great time to visit AXIS in the evening and see that month's show. AXIS is also available as a studio rental to photographers and filmmakers. It is the total opposite of a standard "white box" and offers unique backdrops for any photo shoot or film.

It’s our 11th Anniversary today! 🎊 Come by Art Walk tonight 5-9pm and wish us a “Happy Anniversary” for a special celebratory glass of bubbles! We have a non-alcoholic option available. 🫶🏻

We already said our thank yous in a post earlier this month, but we can’t thank our incredible community enough! We’re filled with immense gratitude and joy to have been a part of the Pioneer Square neighborhood and to have been your go-to event venue, studio space, and gallery for the last 11 years. THANK YOU (again)!

We’ve had chandeliers, lights, paper lanterns, and floral hung from our ceilings, but back in 2015 our couple had upside down furniture suspended over their ceremony & guests! Such a spectacular effect and one that has never been repeated.

Kevin & Julie Law saw the potential in the old Elliott Bay Book Co. space and had the vision to bring a unique event venue to the Globe Building and the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Ten years later, their dream is still going strong.

This month we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane as we celebrate our 10-Year Anniversary. What better way to kick off this photo journey than with our very first AXIS wedding. M & S took a leap of faith and said “We Do” to having their wedding with us based solely on computer drawings before any work on the space had even begun. In their hearts they knew that AXIS would be the perfect place for them to celebrate. We can’t thank them enough for choosing us and kicking off ten years of the most spectacular weddings in Seattle. Happy 10 Year Anniversary to all of our 2013 couples 💗🥂

Time to celebrate! It’s hard to believe it has already been 10 years since we officially opened our doors in Pioneer Square. Quite the exciting decade we’ve had!

AXIS Pioneer Square is quite a chameleon when it comes to how our clients use the space. In addition to monthly Art Walks, and being a part of countless wedding celebrations for our lovely couples, we have played host to a wide variety of events under our arches. We’re always eager to see how each and every event uses and transforms the venue.

We’ve had fashion shows, bar/bat mitzvahs, ping pong tournaments, music festivals, dance performances, concerts, national sporting events, holiday parties, school & non-profit fundraisers, graduation parties, product launches, alumni gatherings, birthdays & anniversaries, celebrations of life, book launches, wedding rummage sales for charity, mayoral inauguration parties, national art & experience tours, medical conferences, and the list goes on and on. We even held virtual weddings & events during the pandemic! AXIS is also well used by those in the film & television industry. Our brick walls have been used by news shows, fitness & dance videos, music videos, and for numerous commercials.

Needless to say, thanks to our clients and wedding couples, and way too many talented vendors to name, we have never experienced a dull moment over the past ten years. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Having you all as a part of our AXIS Family is what made the past ten years possible. We couldn’t have done it without out you.

To our current clients and couples, as well as future ones, we look forward to having you as part of our next ten years and can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.
