🇵🇭 HALO HALO 🇵🇭

October is Filipino American History month!

💜Halo Halo [pronounced: haa-low haa-low] is a traditional Filipino dessert that includes various ingredients. Halo Halo translates to “mix-mix” in Tagalog. You may see it assembled differently like in a cup or a bowl at other places. You might also see it including other additional ingredients like leche flan or langka (jackfruit).

But pictured above is our version and how we chose to put it together for our halo halo shave ice. As long as you enjoy it and you learn what the dessert represents and where it comes from, that’s what matters to us!❤️💛💙🇵🇭

Saturday 8/10 was the Fred Hutch Obliteride! We wanted to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out to our pop-up at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center on Friday 8/2! We were able to collect $495 in gratuity, we appreciate everyone who donated. All gratuity from that day has been donated to the Fred Hutch Obliteride.

Thank you to Fred Hutch Cancer Center for hosting us. We are so grateful to be able to contribute to a great cause!
