We are proud to have partnered with Office of Arts & Culture Seattle in 2024 to produce the series of pop-up performances on our campus. Check out this recap video of the amazing work that artists produced throughout the year.
The series celebrates the talents of emerging and established artists and organizations. Artists are given a performance opportunity, allowing them to connect with new audiences, display their talents and advance their careers. Visitors to campus and the surrounding neighborhood benefit from surprising and delightful pop-up performances throughout the year. Each year, artists are selected with an equity and social justice lens, ensuring equitable representation for underserved and emerging artists. Artistic genres include music, dance, theater, demonstrations, and multi-disciplinary work.

Coming to McCaw Hall on Sat, Nov 16! Two-time Grammy Award-winning comedian/actor/writer Lewis Black uses his trademark style of comedic yelling and finger pointing to expose the absurdities of life. His comedic brilliance makes people laugh at life’s hypocrisies and the insanity he sees in the world. He has performed throughout the world and the US, where he performed at Carnegie Hall and had two successful Broadway runs.

🩰 PNB opening tonight! All Balanchine, presented November 1 – 10, 2024 🩰

This program highlights the range and creativity George Balanchine brought to all of his work, and how he used the music of Vivaldi, Corelli, Prokofiev, and Stravinsky to inspire and influence his choreography.

This meeting of music and dance is as thought-provoking now as it was when Balanchine created these now-classic ballets. Don’t miss this intriguing blend of American folk dance (Square Dance), dramatic parable (Prodigal Son), and ballet blockbuster (Stravinsky Violin Concerto).

Opening tonight! Love's Labor's Lost runs now through November 17 at Seattle Shakespeare Company!

Ever fallen in love when you really didn’t want to?

Intent on intellectual study for himself and his companions, King Navarre proclaims three years of all work and no play – including no romance. On cue, a princess and her ladies arrive at court on a diplomatic mission, and the men can’t help falling head over heels. Will they decide to break their oaths to pursue love? (Spoiler: Yes.) And if they do, just how ridiculous can things get?

Filled with b***y wit, Love's Labor's Lost playfully provokes thought on love, gender, and the games people play.
