🎨 At the A/NT Gallery: Ron Jones “Gateways” pen and ink drawings: a show of impressionistic pastel drawing.

Ron is a self-taught artist specializing in pen and ink and working with a rapidograph. He's spent 20 years drawing and studying masters like M.C. Escher, Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley with a focus on Escherian mathematical concepts. Ron has produced over 100 original drawings and has shown at Amsterdam Whitney International Fine Art Gallery in New York City.

It takes a village to create the village of Centerville, our annual train display, part of Seattle Center Winterfest presented by Symetra. Watch this behind-the-scenes video of the display's installation. Thanks to the team of folks who make it happen every single year, bringing joy and delight to so many during this holiday season. Delight in viewing a late 19th-century model train and village display, installed inside the Armory Food & Event Hall. This annual tradition has been on display for nearly 50 years! The public is invited to take a turn operating the train, or interact by participating in our Scavenger Hunt. Pick up your entry sheet at the Train Station, and see how many clues you can spot. The train operates 10am to 6pm daily from November 29th through December 31st. Visitors are invited to operate the train between 10:30am and 5:30pm. 2024 Festál is a wrap! This year from February to November, Seattle Center hosted free and family-friendly cultural festivals for the communities in the Greater Seattle Area.
