Late October is so magical!
Perfect day to end a busy September! Today- 2 weddings, another funeral, baby shower, hospital flowers, house warming, sympathy, thank you/love you flowers, corporate accounts and countless smiles, tears, hugs and much love. Thank you to my helpers on such a big day! Thank you to my wonderful couples, families and customers! Thank you to my growers and suppliers who provide such wonderful florals! Yesterday was equally challenging with another funeral, large workshop, and at least a dozen deliveries and multiple pickups. Whew! I am ready for October to get in some deep breaths, pumpkins, auctions, rest and MORE events to flower! Yes, including more weddings, concerts and sadly… many funerals on the calendar. In this smudge making workshop is brought to you by @nansenmalin from Nansen Florals and held at the Inspired Mind Matters Wellness Studio located at the @thechautauquaresort.
Nansen will teach you how to hand craft your very own one-of-a-kind smudge. These are perfect to burn with your chosen intention, give as a gift, or use for decoration adding a touch of Zen.
The cost is $25.00. Please pre-register by sending email to [email protected]. All participants will need to register so we know how much supplies to have on hand. Light refreshments will be available.
All materials will be provided, along with some history and usage of smudges, and the therapeutic properties of the floral ingredients you choose to incorporate.
The smudge making session will be a fun, educational, and empowering afternoon that will end with a guided meditation from Michelle. You will leave the studio refreshed with a sense of peace.
