For the Garden Gate couple looking to host an open bar where guests may select from a curated menu of beer, wine, and signature cocktails, we are here to help. From menu planning and creating a shopping list to providing everything needed to serve from glassware to ice.

We provide an insured, trained, professional staff who bring years of hospitably and custom service experience to your wedding. They are committed to crafting delicious drinks while providing an unforgettable experience, and having fun while they do it (yes, you will catch them dancing behind the bar!).

Kelsey and Bradley’s July wedding day had so many dreamy details, and plenty of fun! The delicate lace of her wedding dress, fluttery seasonal flowers, romantic tapered candles with mixed bud vases, elegant and soft linens, and chic black and white custom signage set the whole vibe. The couple kicked off dinner by slicing up their own pizza, guests packed the dance floor, and s’mores around the fire pit brought the night to a perfect close. 🤍

Maddie and Brandon were married in October surround by all their favorite people. 🧡Luscious local blooms, private vows shared together on a forest path, the warm glow of candles, a cocktail crafted with strawberry rhubarb simple syrup harvested and made by the couple, custom watercolor signage featuring their beloved cats were just some of the many beautiful details that made Maddie and Brandon’s wedding so special and unique. ✨

Hi there! We are Sarah and Rich Bianculli, owners of the wedding barn and flower farm Garden Gate at Haley Farm in Sebago, Maine.

Nine years ago we purchased a 200 year old barn and farmhouse, plus 70 acres in Sebago after years of dreaming, researching, and planning our vision for a farm and barn wedding venue (and life for our family!). The yellow barn door caught our eyes and it was love at first sight.

We spent the first two years renovating the 1817 barn and grounds, hosted our first wedding in October 2017, and have been celebrating ever since. This year we will celebrate our 75th wedding!

We have worked continuously to improve and update the historic barn, farmhouse, out-buildings, and grounds and all details that make Garden Gate the unique location it is now.

We call the farmhouse home during the off-season where you will find us enjoying time with our three children, Richard, Evangeline, and Amélie, along with our rescue pup Simone, and an ever-growing flock of chickens. We love living in a place where we can swim, fish, hike, snowboard, ice skate, and of course garden.

Rich has a career outside of Garden Gate, but you will always find him working on something behind the scenes keeping this place running. After five years in event planning and twelve years owning her own letterpress studio designing and printing wedding invitations and stationery, Sarah now works full-time for Garden Gate.

This has been a journey 14 years in the making! We are so excited to live our dream and to write a new page in the history of this farm. And we look forward to connecting with you! Ask us anything. Come visit us. We will show you around and we know you will fall in love with the yellow barn door the way we did too. 💛

It is hard to believe the 2023 wedding season has come to a close on the farm! 💛

We are so grateful to have worked with so many thoughtful, joyous, and amazing couples this season. It’s truly such a privilege to share the barn and farm we have poured so much love into and see the lifelong memories made.

2023 will be remembered for many things, especially the weather! Rain, crazy heat, humidity, more rain, hurricanes, and nor’easters. It was wild. But in the end, it was all about the love!

We worked along side the best of the best in 2023, and cannot thank all the vendors who made each wedding so special and unique to each couple. And our staff! More on them soon, but this was our first season with a team, and we could not have done it without them!

We are so excited to reflect more on 2023 and share photos of all the lovely weddings. And we will continue to share more updates of what’s happening around the farm in the off-season!

We are looking for some reliable hands to help us with set-up and cleaning in the barn through the rest of wedding season!

If you are looking for a few extra hours a week or a student looking for some work, please reach out to [email protected] for more details.

Days are flexible, but ideally on a Wednesday or Thursday. It will take approximately 3 hours and may be done during the day or evening. Must be able to move and lift heavy things independently.

Position starts immediately (week of September 11) and will go through the week of October 23. Opportunity to come back next wedding season (15 weeks between June - October).
