SEEKING:

[NARRATOR]- presents 25-40s, Female-identifying/ Gender non-conforming/ non-binary. Black/ Indigenous/ Person of Color. The Narrator is the spirit and our MC of the event. Charismatic, confident, charming with a whirlwind of energy, guiding the audience through the chaos with a dazzling mix of shade and helpful insight, to ensure everyone stays on track while keeping the mood lively and the laughs rolling. Think host/emcee/hype-person that can hold the audience in the palm of their hands while improving in response to show and audience feedback.

[TITANIA/HELENA]- presents 25-40s, Female-identifying. Black/ Indigenous/ Person of Color. One actor will be playing both the roles of Titania & Helena.

TITANIA: the queen of the fairies, majestic, powerful, unpredictable temperament, conniving AND charming. Note: in this production Titania is the one who lays the love potion on Oberon’s eyes so that Oberon wakes up in-lust with the ass. She will have her way ya feel me.

HELENA: is the ultimate love-struck underdog, chasing after Demetrius like a caffeinated squirrel. With her dramatic flair and constant self-doubt, she’s like a rom-com heroine who keeps missing the punchline but never loses her charm.

[LYSANDER/OBERON/FLUTE]- presents 25-40s, Male-identifying. Black/ Indigenous/ Person of Color. One actor will be playing both the roles of Lysander & Oberon.

LYSANDER: is a hopelessly romantic dreamer who’s obsessed with Hermia. They have a heart as boundless as their optimism, think human golden retriever energy. Positive and willing to do anything to please Hermia.

OBERON: is the powerful, stubborn king of the fairies. Note: in this production Titania lays the potion on Oberon’s eyes so that Oberon wakes up in-lust with the ass. Think bravado, machismo at its peak.
