When ordering a custom cake keep in mind it needs to be taken care of. It isn’t a grocery store cake that is shelf stable for days on out. It’s made with fresh and quality ingredients that need to be taken care of to stay fresh and in tact. Always keep your cake up straight, don’t let the passenger or back seat kid hold the cake. The floor board is best or an open trunk area. Keep your car cool to keep the cake cool. Do not leave your cake in a hot car or any hot place. Keep it refrigerated until party time. Especially now during the summer heat because that heat is no joke. If you aren’t serving it until the next day keep it in the refrigerator. You pay good money for a custom cake, and I spend so much time on them, so take care of it!! My orders now come with cake care cards for a reminder. 😊
