The first mistake you’ll want to avoid is taking care of the stems of your flowers. Make sure to cut the stems the right way, as this is crucial for their health and lifespan.
Use sharp scissors or shears to trim the stems, and always cut at an angle. This helps the flowers take in more water and stay fresh longer.
Also, remember to remove any leaves that will be underwater in the vase. Leaves below the water can rot and make the water dirty.

🌸There's something truly magical about having a flower farm. Every day, I'm surrounded by the vibrant colors and delicate scents of the flowers we grow.
But there's one thing that makes this experience even more special: the butterflies. 🦋
Watching them transform from being caterpillars into butterflies is a humbling experience. It reminds me that growth and change are natural parts of life. 🩵
So wherever you are right now, keep going. Know that your time to bloom will come. 💪🏾
🤔 Ever wondered what it takes to grow these beautiful blooms?

Ever wondered what's lurking under those pine needles and leaves in your backyard? 📽️👩🌾
Today, we dig deep and uncover some amazing compost right under our feet! 🌱
Join me and Andrew as we explore this natural composting wonderland. These pine needles break down into tiny, nutrient-rich pieces that are perfect for your small seedlings. 🌿
The deeper soil is an incredible compost to mix into your garden, adding essential nutrients for healthier plants. 🌼
Even larger pieces like pine cones can be a great addition around perennials and with your wood chips. 🍂

😌 Here's a little secret that works well for me, and might for you as a grower.
When planting biodegradable bags, I recommend making a small rip at the side and then pulling it down.
This allows you to completely cover the biodegradable piece when you plant it so it doesnt wick moisture up moisture and dry out your plant.
Comment down below if you've also been doing the same method! 😊 #LocalFlowers
