Today is a bitter sweet day at Annwyn. Our Barn Manager, Lacey Moorlag is stepping down after 7 years of service. Lacey has been a large part of everyone’s lives at Annwyn. Lacey, we thank you for everything you have done for Annwyn, it’s residents, and clients. We wish you the best of luck in whatever path you choose next!

A big thank you to Kenneth Mead, Jason Hall, Rob Hile, John Santoro, Glenn Carlson, and my husband, Scott Petersen! After a year of supply chain issues and labor shortages, we are finally almost done with the covered arena. These guys worked hard all day yesterday putting our previous mirrors back in. A special thanks to Kenny Mead, we would be lost without him. Now, we just need to add a couple more! 🤪

Now that things are starting to settle down, I want to thank a number of people that came through for us and helped get Annwyn ready for Irma. Without Lacey Kalin, our barn manager, we would not have made it through this storm in one piece. Jessica Prescott and Andrea Weber, who put in a lot of extra hours. Rachael Farrell, who used to work at Annwyn and came all of the way from Orlando to help. Caitlin Wolfe, who is a work machine and helped us throughout the preparation. Kelly King Widner, who helped in the barn and also learned she was quite handy with a drill. Cindy Martin, who helped with the preparation and even brought us sandwiches and beer when we were cleaning up. Karen Mischka, her husband and daughter, who cleaned up the back barn almost single handedly. Rhonda Mancuso and her husband with friend, who put up all of the plywood around the barn among other things. Jennifer Jones and Angela Guggino pitched in when they could. I don't know how I got so lucky to have such amazing people surrounding me, but I am so thankful and blessed!
