This is between Shackelford funeral home entrance/exit and the side walk of Selmer Flower Shop. No, not all of this is metal. However, it is trash. Everyday scrap metal travels on the back of open trailers up and down Cypress Street. Box cardboard recycle has netting over their trailer. SMC, to my knowledge, is required to cover their trucks. How hard would it be to put down a tarp? Why is there no requirement that is upheld for transportation of scrap to keep the street free from scrap metal litter. Which littering is absolutely against the law.
Help save a few tires and put down a sheet/tarp if you have to haul scrap metal!
