Hey y'allllllll!! Ok so unfortunately a change in today's schedule. So we were supposed to be at The Lucky Duck Shop's Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration however the city decided to tear up the sidewalk next to the shop and left a huge hole where I was going to set up at which really leaves no alternative bc the space was already tight. I absolutely hate cancelling but I have to do what's best for my business HOWEVER I encourage you to still swing by the celebration and check out this unique place bc seriously there's a rubber duckie to fit every personality lol and besides these guys are great and we all should support small business owners!! Hopefully w can collaborate with them in the future and do something special ❤️🐷

You can still catch us tonight at Dharma Kava Lounge at their Dharma's 10th Anniversary Ball starting at 8pm through 3am!! I'll have all your favorite smokey treats plus this championship quality cheesecake and banana puddin!!!

Ok y'all as you know already we didn't win the Grand Prize on either side, People's choice or Judge's choice however a Top 10 FINISH would be absolutely awesome and well THAT WE DID!!! After 1000s applied and competed ONLY 48 make the Finale and back to back years we've finished at the TOP!!

Not even both winners took Top 10 in both!! IN FACT ONLY 3 of us accomplished that feat and that's not easy to please the judges and the random crowd of people and we've accomplished this back to back years!! Championship or not, we've proven to be best amongst the best!! Couldn't be more proud of not only myself but my amazing crew!! We killed it and given the unforseen circumstances here with these storms disrupting our every day lives I would like to see anyone else pull off what we did and it all happened bc of so many amazing !

Y'all really have restored my faith! Today was truly eye opening as many whom I expected lent that helping hand and many I expected didn't. Expectations out of people can be a double edged sword but on to better things .... And that would be a HUGE THANK YOU to many of your wonderful amazing people! We nearly doubled that goal so instead of just barely scraping our teeth on the way, the crew can actually be comfortable and we can be fully functional and have everything originally planned play out. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that what we are presenting to the judges will be an over the top experience that I'm hoping will be the winning ticket. It certainly is creative and unique.

Again thank you my beautiful people! Be sure to watch us as we go live from the actual competition and increments around the top of the hour starting at 2:00 with the awards ceremony starting around 6:15 to 6:30. I'll be sending out an invite and an event page for the live stream tomorrow so keep your eyes and ears out and join and watch us as we kick a$$ and bring home the title back to Tampa Bay!!!

I know it's late but it might be the best time to find gas on my adventure from Bay Pines to the 9th Street KFC to pick up Gene from work. I found the following places open:

Chevron on the corner of 54th avenue and 62nd Street

Wawa and Nobile across the street from each other on the intersection of 34th Street and 62nd avenue

I believe in karma and after all the people we fed the past few days then losing power and potentially losing all the things I've already started to prep for Dessert Wars next weekend this angel came to my rescue and lent us his generator since he didn't lose power!!

Okie dokie y'all. Post Milton Update:

First sorry I'm just posting this. Been answering phone calls and text messages and talking to neighbors and assessing any damage. We are lucky here. The only thing that we lost was a tree next to the garage. We have no structural damage. No damage to the car. Just wish we still had power but as most that went through this do not have power as well. There is no time frame on the power being restored but we are sure it's going to be a couple of days. Also Dad and Abby are ok down in Bradenton 🥰🙏

Second there is a map of another storm showing that it's coming this way, it is fake news. Someone is using the path from Helene and calling it the next named storm which I believe is Nadine. That is false information. Please do not believe it and please for the love of God, do not share it!!

Good morning everyone! Mane what a great sleep I just had! Passed out around 9pm and just woke up lol well to my surprise the storm has continued to shift south and we're the little blue dot there and we're OFFICIALLY OUT OF THE CONE!! WOOT!!

Now that doesn't mean we won't see torrential downpours and some winds but a direct hit looks like is no more 🤗🎉 plz pray for our fellow Floridians to the South and there's still time for it to wobble so we're not taking things any lighter until it passes but folks back home I believe all out prayers have been answered here 🙏🥰

If you need gas, the Wawa on Missouri at rosary does have an epic line. However, they have gas and there is a tanker there filling it up. So it looks like they will have gas for quite some time. Little bit longer than most places. So if you're in need of gas I would zip right on over there. I just drove right past it p

Ok y'all so first off thank you Church by the Sea for helping us Memphis Style BBQ Co & Suga' Shane's Puddin' Cakes yesterday! Pastor Jonathon and Kyle y'all were so nice and welcoming as well as your congregation and volunteers! Thank you to my volunteers as well bc I couldn't have done it without y'all! Line seriously bless each and every one of you! We fed nearly 500 people!!

Now that being said I was gonna feed the rest of the food to the residents at my good tonight in which I go to once a month. Although these people are struck hard last week the management turned down my offer which I find disturbing and shocking so I have did I need to get rid of so if you need a FREE BBQ BOX I'll be set up in my yard here in the Seminole Largo area this evening 630-9pm and again tomorrow 11am-4pm. If you need to grab 15 boxes idc, no questions asked! Plz take many and take them to ppl who you that need them!! I can also deliver but I just need to know in advance!!

I just want to thank everyone for the attention that tomorrow's event received as donations have steadily poured in, AND THAT Y'ALL DID!! BRAVO!! This has way exceeded my expectations and I'm cooking away already to get tomorrow on point and a success!!

BBQ lunch will be choice of Pulled Pork or Pulled Chicken with BBQ Beans, Mac n Cheese, bottled water and choice of banana puddin that will be offered in 3 of our famous flavors that were featured at Dessert Wars (The Original OG, Elvis Presley or Pina Colada)

I have 10 volunteers lined up plus folks from the Church by the Sea will be on standby to assist if needed. This is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT and the donations have accumulated for us to serve OVER 700 PEOPLE!! Y'ALL FREAKING ROCK! ok I gotta get off here and get back to cooking bc of y'all's generosity imma be cooking my tail off I tell ya what lol but it's my pleasure and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone out tomorrow!!
