That means it’s never too early to start planning for those special outdoor gatherings. With warmer weather comes the perfect opportunity to celebrate the season—don’t wait until the last minute to get everything organized!

When it comes to party planning, early preparation makes all the difference. The type of event you're hosting will determine how much planning you need, but the more rare or meaningful the occasion, the more important it is to get a head start.

Let’s Start Planning!

Use this party planning checklist to guide you through the details:

Make a list of people to invite.
Mark the date on your calendar.
Send invitations (mail, email, or phone).
Plan the menu, including beverages.
Make a shopping list (food, paper goods, decorations).
Plan your cooking schedule:
What can be made ahead and frozen?
What will you prepare the day before?
What will be bought ready-made?
Make a list of equipment needed (tables, chairs, tents, etc.).
Plan the layout of your space (keep food stations spaced out for easy flow and mingling).
Choose your music.
Think about lighting.
Buy or make a centerpiece or other decorations.
Check your cleaning supplies for before and after the party.

It’ll be spring and summer before you know it, which means it’s never too early to start thinking and planning for those special events. With the warmer weather comes more opportunity to get outside and celebrate the season! Don’t wait until the last minute to plan for your event.
When it comes to party planning, it is never too early to start organizing all of the details. The type of celebration you are hosting will most likely determine the amount of preparation needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The events that occur very rarely in an individual’s life tend to require the most planning in advance. �

Tomorrow's the big day! We cannot wait to share this with all of you.
Here are some tips for tomorrow:
🕕 The event starts at 6pm, Tree lighting at 7pm
❄️ It will be cold, please dress as warm as possible so you can enjoy the whole event
☕️ there will be many free items, but be sure to bring some cash/cards to visit all the craft vendors setting up!
🚘 there will be lots of parking available, see prior parking post for more information
🎅 Santa will be available for free Photos, special thanks to The Shaffers
🎆 Fireworks will be directly following the tree lighting
Please be sure to stop out and support everyone and their hard work!

*this is the first year so we would imagine there will be bugs to be worked out, please be kind and let us know if there is an issue!
EMTs will be available on-site as well.
