White and green are our fourth color palette for our pre-designed palette. We did more white florals for weddings this past year than ever before. 95% of all our weddings were all white.

I would say white had a moment to shine this year. Next year looks to be filled with mixes of colors with some white. I think the classic look of white florals will never go out of style for any wedding or event. It really does shine in photos.

Sometimes there is simplicity in simple blooms displayed creatively with a little bit of water.

A moment for some recent bridal bouquets. In my opinion this is the most important flower piece in your collection of flowers for weddings.

It’s the one thing that you don’t skimp on for your wedding florals. You will be holding this bouquet in more photos than anything else.

Things you need to think about:
1. Size. Do you want small, medium, or large?
2. Your dress. I like to look at a brides dress right before I start so it gives me the right mindset and impression before I begin designing.
3. Color of your dress. Is it white or cream?
4. Ribbon. Silk,satin, or chiffon? Do you like wrapped stems or dangles of ribbon.
5. Inspiration. What is the overall style of the wedding? We have several styles we were looking at with these bouquets. Boho chic, Garden style, Classically Modern, and our final style was a Southern garden style complete with white flowering To***co and Smilax to match the reception.
6. Scent. Does it bother you if your flowers smell or do like unscented?

Red, white, and green our third color choice. This one is my personal favorite. I really love green flowers. Especially green roses and I love an opportunity to use them.

This color combination is perfect for a holiday party or a wedding in December. Not that we are rushing the holidays we know Halloween is coming. But it’s never too soon to think about holiday parties.

I am a huge fan of photography enthusiasts. It’s a skill that impresses me because it’s artistic and technical.

This photo was taken by my client’s husband who has an affinity for photography and sent it to me to use. I love it. He was just taking photos from Homecoming of his son and his date and this lovely shot was the result.

Still working on Homecoming orders. I had to share this fun photo for one particular order. This student ordered a corsage and boutonnière for himself and his date. But then he ordered a giant bouquet of flowers for his date as well.

I feel like his future bodes well given his dedication and creativity to ordering flowers at such an early age. Either that or it could be his lovely older sister’s influence!

I think it’s just pure fun! Flowers for everyone! The sooner we all embrace this the happier everyone is! 🥰

Some sneak peek homecoming orders. We make extra effort to make sure that we don’t send any flowers that are the same for kids that go to the same schools. The last thing we want are three kids with the same flowers showing up at the same dance wearing the same color dress.

We are happy to spend the extra time so we get it right for the dances.

This is a sample of what we did today for three dances happening this weekend. Instagram allows 20 photos so we just went with it! 20 fun photos for you.

I went out to my dahlia patch and we actually used some red and pink dahlias from my garden. So my neglected gardening was useful this year. Most of my dahlias came from

The most interesting thing for color friends was that navy was the overwhelming color of dresses this year. A trend perhaps? Sometimes it’s black. Definitely not this year!

Pick up the most recent copy of Fall issue for a preview into a Black and Red Halloween party with moody red florals from and the most spectacular and beautiful food from . Dahlias and vegetables from the party are all grown from our talented flower friend Isaac Porter .pa who you can also read about in the same issue.

The party’s theme was inspired by the book called The Personal Librarian which has a Crimson themed party in the story. Guests left with signed copies of the book and a chance to discuss it with one of the authors.
