We love you Seymour man! Glad you enjoyed the patty melt!

My picture is off a bit but let me just tell you right now, Lola's Modern Kitchen done did it again! The patty melt is absolutely killer!! Has a flavor profile I haven't experienced yet but it was beautiful! Trust me you need to try it! I'm not sure what all they season it with but it was garlicky and peppery which are my 2 favorite tastes! Shout out to Bob for the recommending it to me!! Someone gotta give that man a promotion for that one!

Today we want to give a special shout out to our favorite duo… Anthony and Yaz!! ✨

Anthony and Yaz have been a dynamic duo at Lola’s since the beginning, roughly 2 years of a journey together now! 🖤

They normally work as our prep team, but what you may not know is all the manual labor they do for us! Between painting, cleaning and flooring… they do it all! 🤩

We are so incredibly thankful they are apart of our team… and while you all may not see them often, they make so much happen behind the scenes. We couldn’t do it without them! 🫶🏻

Let’s show Anthony and Yaz some love yall! 🖤

Wow what a day yesterday! Thank you all for your understanding of the restaurant being closed!
It was a very special day for our company.

Fruit and veggie trays, meat and cheese trays, assorted puff pastries, 2 taco bars, assorted desserts and two cash bars for 328 people!!! It was the single largest event we have done!! And we could not have done it without our amazing crew!! One of our crew even stepped in as a black Jack dealer for the night, no experience just a 30 minute tutorial!! Our townhouse manager Jade even stepped in to help bartend. Wyatt was there keeping the taco bar full and keeping it light hearted! Chef Matt Matt holding it down wherever we needed him. Tonya was at the other bar giving amazing service! And a whole crew back at the kitchen prepping and cleaning. It was a thing of beauty!

There were so many people involved in making this happen!!! Especially Alexis Kieninger! She is our sales and marketing manager and has been working with this client for months to make sure this event went perfectly!!!

Let me tell you about the Lola burger!!!!

This burger, named after Lola Mae the owners 7yo daughter(it’s her favorite menu item right now), is by far our most popular menu item!

First we start with the burger patties. Two all beef, never frozen smash burgers. We use a slightly higher fat content in our beef blend. We do this because the fat renders and creates a super juicy burger!! Then we season with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. Yes we grind our black pepper in house every day!

Once cooked to perfection we layer with two slices of American cheese and grilled onions until it is all melted together.

Next we place on a buttered and grilled split top bun. Add some shredded iceberg lettuce and drizzle with our house made burger sauce for that perfect tangy zing!

Add bacon or switch out the cheese to make the perfect burger for you, throw in a side of our famous duck fat French fries. And that my friends is one tasty burger!!

This week we want to talk about Bob Allman!!

Many of you know him, but we’re going to try and share some things you may not know about him!!

Bob has been with Lola’s since the food truck days, and we all just recently celebrated his one year anniversary with us!! 🖤 Bob loves to help inspire new menu dishes out at Lola’s whenever he can, and if you ask him what SHOULD be on the menu, he will tell you a blooming onion😆🧅

Bob also does stand up comedy and brings laughter to everyone he meets! 🤣 If you want to see him live, there’s an event tonight that I will attach details with!!

Everyone give one of the funniest and best guys we know some love!! 🫶🏻
