Let's be honest....when was the last time you had family portraits?

For us it was 2020 😱 I don't count our random summer pictures we occasionally get as a family. I mean honest to goodness showcases on your wall family portraits. This is ours. I was pregnant with our 4th, and this seems to be the only time we take family pictures. 😅

One of my favorite shots from 2022....

This creative challenge hosted by was one of many that I had a blast at! I loved that each of these challenges taught me something new and allowed me to step out of my "normal" family/newborn style. Through these challenges I really found my editing style, and made great connections!

Hi 👋 to all my new followers and those that have stuck with me from the beginning! I wanted to share 3 things about myself.

1. I've never read all of Harry Potter 😅 I know, don't come at me. I honestly wasn't allowed as a kid, and it hasn't been until adulthood that I've come to love them. I'm reading them with my kids and I love them more than the movies! Which I've seen all of. 😂 I also haven't read LoTR, but I LOVE the movies (don't worry, it's on my must read list)

2. I homeschool all of my children. It's something new. I did it over the shutdown of 20' and fell in love with it! And so did my kids. My two older kids went back to public school last school year, but begged to be back at home. So I obliged.

3. I am a part time student myself. I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's in marriage and family studies, but still trying to figure out what my masters will be in. I'm on the fence with nutrition and social work with a certificate in marriage and family therapy. Two vastly different things, but I have a passion for both. Just not sure if I'm ready for the time and emotional commitment of social work/therapy.

So that's me! Wife, mom of 4, student, God fearing, photographer.

2. After you've checked our pricing guide and see we are a good fit budget wise shoot me an email to [email protected] or aum it the contact form on the site. I will get back to you within 24 hours, generally less.

3. Now that you've done steps 1-2, let's set up your consultation and get your session fee paid. This is a retainer fee, so it's non-refundable, but helps secure your special date on my calendar, so no one else can take away from you!

We are officially Hoosiers 🥰 We closed on our house Wednesday and we officially make the big move in just a couple of weeks! So much is happening this week as I have worked in the house. I can't wait to grow and meet new photographers in Indiana!

We officially closed on our house yesterday. It is real y'all! We are headed back to the homeland of the Hoosier nation. I am so sad to leave all my wonderful photographer friends and models I have made here. I have truly grown as a photographer in these 7 years we've been in Michigan. It is so bittersweet to have to say goodbye in a few weeks.
