We will be hosting UT’s Fruit and Nut Specialist Dr. Dave Lockwood on Nov. 4, at 6:30 . Dr. Lockwood will be covering how to get started with fruits and berries as well as managing current plantings. We will be going over soil tests, new fruit and berry cultivars for our area, and will have information on our spring 2026 strawberry growing and apple tree grafting workshops. Something for everyone! Dr. Lockwood is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge – whether you have 1 apple tree or a commercial orchard – this meeting will have something for everyone.
