I just noticed this morning we hit 1,000 orders! That means 1,000 photoshoots have been taken! CRAZY

Well, I've been doing this since 2007 and I've only been using this system since 2014, so I'm sure the number of actual shoots is much higher but it's still cool nonetheless to see how many people I've had the pleasure of working with!

I received the best text and compliment today any photographer/videographer can possible receive.

I did video at a wedding a couple years back and worked alongside this photographer who did great work. We stayed in touch after the wedding, tossed recommendations each other's way, BS'ed from time to time, etc.

Well he proposed yesterday and is now getting married next year and he asked if I was available to shoot his wedding! He said I was the first person he thought of and wow is there no better compliment! Proud me moment! :)

A little before and after!

Your job as a photographer is to bring photos to life, not to create a false reality or a lie, but create a version of reality that shows its true beauty.

The “before” is what they refer to as RAW, think of the old days with film. When you took a photo you had to develop the film, it’s kind of the same concept with RAW photos. You get a super flat, dull, colorless image and you have to process the image to bring it to life.

Exposure correction. White balance adjustment. Color shift fixes. Object removals. Spot correction to make certain areas pop more.

Very eager to be on this journey!
