✨ Gallery Night is coming to Downtown Sheboygan! ✨

Join us at the Sheboygan Collective on Saturday, September 14th from 4-8pm for a night of art and beautiful blooms! 💐

I'll be hosting a bouquet bar, offering $25 regular bouquets and $35 luxury bouquets. Create your own custom arrangement and take home a piece of the evening. I'll have bright colors as well as fall colors for whatever mood you're in!

It's a great reminder of how fantastic Sheboygan is to have something like this. I hope to see you there!

It hit me today while I put some flowers in my room. There is so much love in this special place in our home. My first Mother's Day gift when we were in the NICU with Eden, my best friend and Paul put together these beautiful reminders of the joy of our daughter. There sits a walnut hope chest lovingly made by my dad, which is stuffed with photos, first pictures and baby clothes. There are fresh flowers from my backyard that instantly bring me happiness from their beauty and the smell of fresh home grown eucalyptus.

I hope you have that special place in your house where you notice the love that surrounds you.

Farmstand is open today! This is probably the best of the summer season - dahlias, lisianthus, eucalyptus and zinnias! I've got moody, fall colors and bright colors as well! 💐 There are a couple of bouquets that have eucalyptus and one bunch of fresh eucalyptus. More fresh eucalyptus bunches to come tomorrow or Friday this week! 🌿🌿🌿

I think we all need more fun and fun people in our lives. This group was energetic and the creations were 👩🏻‍🍳😘. I also love that a kiddo came as well - I loved her energy! Thank you to Whitney for literally and figuratively holding space for this group to create. Yet another reason I'm grateful to be in Sheboygan.

For those that couldn't make it last night, we'll host another one sometime! Not sure of details yet, but we'll keep you posted!

These ladies at Generations in Plymouth were awesome. They did such a great job with their arrangements! It was so fun to see how everyone designed just a little bit differently. I love seeing your creativity.

I always worried that when I left teaching, all the time and energy would be wasted. It wasn't wasted. I am finding more and more I love teaching workshops. I love meeting you. I love seeing you learn, create, explore, the connections you make with each other, the fun you have. Let's do more of these.

When you support small businesses, you support your community. You support families that take their kids to swim lessons at the local YMCA, that volunteer their time in their community, that want to spend their money at other local businesses.

It doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing. I had to order hamster wheel magnets the other day on Amazon. (Yes, it's a real thing). We obviously can't get those locally. 🤣 Do what you can locally. We all know money is tight, so the small businesses you do choose to spend your money at really, truly appreciate it. YOU are appreciated!

It's been a long time and we have a lot of new followers, so I'll introduce myself! I'm Rebecca, the farmer/nature enthusiast behind Serendipity Cut Flowers. I've been digging in dirt since I was a little kid, growing up on a dirt road in the middle of Wisconsin. I've been farming since 2021 (yes, this was my covid baby) and absolutely love bringing happiness to others through flowers!

For those who don't know me, here are a few tidbits of really information about me 😉

💐 I love connecting with you all. Growing is something that fills my soul, but I love seeing your excitement growing flowers, creating bouquets together and nerding out about flowers or growing. I want YOU to experience joy and happiness through flowers and growing.

💐 If I could be a goat mom, I would. And a cat mom. And a dog mom. And a chicken mom. And also a maybe a duck mom. Currently, I'm a mom to two cuties, Eden & Hollis, and a hamster, Santa Pete.🎅

💐 I have a sweet, little farmstand in our garage where you can grab flowers Wednesday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm. I also love doing workshops and teaching people how to grow.

💐 I REALLY like digging in dirt/soil (yes, that's a debate on what term to use). So much so, that I went and got a degree in Anthropology (Archaeology).

💐 I can't watch scary movies. I can watch snakes and spiders outside all day long, I can hold snakes, but horror movies are a big NOPE.

💐 My favorite flower is ranunculus. (Don't tell the others!) Tulips are a close second.

💐 I would consider myself a micro farmer because I grow mostly at our home and a little bit at Nourish because it works better for our family!

💐 80's music/early 90's is my jam. My kids now request Vanilla Ice & Heart. 🧊❤️

💐 If I could choose between unlimited sushi and unlimited tacos for life, I'm going for sushi. 🍱🍣 (Taco lovers, we can still be friends. It was a tough choice). 🌮

Need a midweek pick me up? The farmstand is open today until 6 PM! I've got bunches with snaps, feverfew, fragrant stock, peonies and scabiosa. There are bunches of feverfew, lavender and sweet peas to beautify your home as well! One of my favorite things about sweet peas is walking into the room and being greeted by their beautiful fragrance. Enjoy the best of summer grown right here in Sheboygan.

Last night we did a last minute solstice party for friends and neighbors. It's the longest day of the year so why not spend it with those that you love and care about. We invited friends and neighbors, sat outside around a bonfire with snacks and drinks, talking about everything. I saw old friends reconnecting after years apart, new neighbors getting to know each other a little bit better, and kids are running around chasing each other until after dark with flashlights, enjoying the best of summer. I saw friends playing Uno games with my daughter because that's how she connects. I saw a friend helping dry dishes to help make the cleanup that much easier. I got so much laughter and deep conversations. If you want to know what true beauty looks like, it was that. My heart is so full from the community that we have around us. 💗💗💗

This week I will still have anemone and ranunculus! I know last week I said lady week would be the last week with the intention of saving some flowers for an event this Friday. (Sadly, we had a family friend passed away and will be attending the funeral at the time of event so we had to cancel. Hug your people you love today. 🫂)

Guess what? It's my birthday! 🥳 I love birthday! It's a great excuse to see the people you love the most, do something fun and eat cake. 🤗😁🎂 To celebrate, this week 10% of everything sold in the farmstand or online will go to the Foundation for Prader Willi Research. (Summer subscriptions are still available!) They fundraise millions of dollars for research into helping with some of PWS's challenges. I'd love to help further some research, even if it's just a little bit. The farmstand will be open Wednesday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm. Please park at 417 Clifton Avenue in Sheboygan.

Sometimes you just need something that fills your soul. This was it. This group, though one person was missing in the picture, was the best. We laughed. We took a hit off of plants (catmint and scented geranium...what were you thinking?). We nerded out about plants. We made beautiful bouquets. We made memorable phrases (size does matter....at least with ranunculus.). It was incredible. Can't wait to do it again.
