Let’s meet our new Dance Instructor/ Choreographer! She’ll have everyone moving around our stage!

Gracie!

Gracie Vorgitch is a passionate and experienced dancer with over 16 years of dance training at Gotta Dance Dance Studio and Cousino Varsity Dance Team. She attended the Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts for 4 years, where she choreographed and performed in several musicals. In addition to her dance background, Gracie is a licensed esthetician, currently works as a nanny, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She is excited to share her love of dance and performance with her students while continuing to grow in her own journey as an educator.

Let’s meet our Theater Vocal Coach!

Kayvon!

Kayvon Kashani-Gharavi is so excited to be the vocal music director at Music Maker Theater. He is currently the director of theater at Stoney Creek High school, teaches private lessons at Music Maker Studio, and is the artistic director for Grosse Pointe Community Chorus. He has used his expertise in vocal pedagogy and conducting to grow the many theatrical and choral companies that he has worked with over the past 5 years.
Kayvon holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Oakland University where he had the opportunity to be the student conductor of both the Oakland Chorale and University Chorus. During his time at Oakland he had the opportunity to perform on an international tour through Europe, and perform with the Rolling Stones at their Zip code tour at Comerica Park. He also holds a Master Degree in choral conducting from Westminster Choir College where he held an assistantship for the Symphonic choir, preparing a number of pieces to be performed with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. He also had the opportunity to do an international tour through China, and act as a resident vocalist at the Spoleto festival in South Carolina.
Since graduating Kayvon has worked as a professor of vocal studies at Madonna University and worked as the artistic director for a number of companies including ENCORE men’s chorus, Grosse Pointe Community Chorus, and Stagecrafters. In the coming years he is planning on pursuing a Doctorate in choral studies and hopes to one day conduct at a university level. He is so excited to share his knowledge and help this theater make a name within the community.

Lets Meet our Stage Lighting Teacher and the man bringing the light to our stage!

Chris!

Chris Winter is an Audio-Visual Designer and Engineer. His interests began as a teenager recording music with friends in the basement and being involved behind the scenes for theatre plays and musicals at Utica High School. He earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design & Technology from Oakland University in 2018. Chris is also an AVIXA CTS holder, the leading internationally-recognized certification for audio-visual technicians. He has designed events and stages of all kinds for cities, national acts, corporations, religious organizations, you name it. He also has experience designing and installing audio-visual systems for theaters, restaurants, churches, schools, broadcast studios, gyms and more. But currently, Chris is the owner of Nexus Audio Video & Lighting, providing support for live events and planning audio-visual integrations. He is also currently the Worship Technical Arts Producer at Trinity Lutheran Church & School in Utica where he leads an amazing team of talented volunteers handling all of the churches technological needs for worshiping and teaching people about Jesus.

Let’s Meet the owner and Music Director of Music Maker Performing Arts Theater!

Peter!

Peter Piwonski is the owner of Music Maker Studio and Music Maker Performing Arts Theater. He has owned the studio since 1999. He took a few years break to go to Wisconsin to be a therapist for kids with autism and incorporated music therapy with all his kids. He also attended Oakland University for Music Education and Madison Media Institute for sound engineering. He brings over 35 years of experience to this new adventure and looks forward to all the amazing opportunities for all the kids and families in the area for music and theater!

Let’s meet our Theater Director!

Jeremy!

Jeremy Pastoria has done theater since he was 9-years-old. Starting his journey at the Warren Civic Theatre & dancing at Tina Marie School of Dance, he then continued on to attending the Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts in high school. He received his Bachelors degree in Musical Theatre from Siena Heights University in 2023, and is the current assistant coach for West Middle School’s Dance Team. He is beyond thrilled to extend his knowledge, love, and passion for theatre with the next generation!
