The Gingerbread Meeting House has a School Catering Team Member position available.

Member will prepare daily hot meal, package and deliver to both campuses in our delivery vehicle. No prior cooking experience is required (detailed training will be given).

Hours are (school days) Monday-Friday 7am to 11:30-12 depending on the day. Start date is Monday 8/21.

Flowers became my personal passion years ago when I was busy teaching school, raising a family, and way too involved with the life I loved to bring the florals into my home ON MY OWN! I was blessed to have a mother-in-law who was a floral designer and master gardener who always offered her services to take care of any floral décor when I was having friends over for an event or celebrating the holidays, or helping with a church or civic event. I was smart enough to recognize the powerful effect her floral designs had on those who experienced them but did not try my hand at designing until Nana, for age and health reasons, was no longer able to provide this service. Amazingly, I discovered that I, too, could create florals that brought joy to my family and friends, and they encouraged me to offer this service to others. The timing was right to make the transition from my first passion, teaching, to another passion-floral design- and so the story goes!
InSeasonFlorals is based in Kings Mountain where I work from my home. My husband, who grew up in a family who inspired great respect for the land through farming and gardening, helps me garden and plant strategically for greenery I can use in floral décor. I’m also blessed to have the help of my best friend, Kathy Cheshire, assisting in the business. Her artistic knowledge and extensive training in working with plants, florals, and elegant décor enhance our ability to provide services beyond offering a wonderful floral design! Our goal is to help each bride create a wedding plan that enables her to have the atmosphere and ambiance that expresses HER vision and heart…and do so with a healthy dash of joy!
