Head on over to Lucky Duck River Rentals at Halls Mill, have some delicious food at the Market, then hop in a tube or a kayak and float along a spell on Tennessee's own Duck River.
We can't say enough about the amazing community and good vibes the owners have cultivated at this spot, and it was truly an honor to work with them and shake the hands of the folks that they serve. It's truly inspiring to come across people that have vision and are working hard to bring their dreams to life.
We'll see ya there! — it's bound to be a beautiful day on The Duck!

I feel often that i come across the wrong way to some people because im so passionate about these crazy drones. perhaps this video will give a little more insight into who I really am, and why im so over the top about this hobby. I dont often open up and talk personally about my life, so this was an extremely daunting task for me and I put an extreme amount of effort into doing it right. im actually pretty proud of this first episode, and I im excited/ nervous to let it all out. I hope that for as much work as i put in to this, it shows atleast that my heart was really in it.

Hey, Astralnauts! We are stoked to finally share a project of ours with you that was a blast to film and produce: a tour of McKay Books Nashville! This is a regular haunt and loved multimedia hub for Tennesseans, so it was an honor to showcase it in our own unique perspective with this seamless one-take shot! We were given a lot of artistic freedom for this, including the chance to write a nostalgic synthwave song on our Moog, just for McKay's ("The Stacks")!

Here's footage of some artful freestyle flying at our favorite local bando: an old vinyl record/cassette tape factory. We fall more in love with FPV every day. It tests the limits of our imagination and changes our perception of the world constantly. It's a reminder that everything seems ordinary until we shift our perspective just a little bit.

One-Take of Greenhouse Ministries
Here is a one-take shot of Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro, TN. Though I didn't use this shot in its entirity for the final edit, I thought it was worth a share! It was extememly fun to weave through those long hallways and duck in and out of windows and balconies. I only flew one practice pack before taking this shot, but it stands pretty good on its own!

Lost in the Pines of Sewanee
Hails, Astralnauts! Happy Halloween!
Stoked we were able to get a quick promotional shot of Lost in the Pines at their Halloween show! It was hosted at University of the South last night, and yes, it was raining, but as they say: THE SHOW MUST GO ON. The band put on a phenomenal performance and maintained stellar energy! Can't wait to catch their next one!

Fire Wardens!
Hails, Astralnauts — GUESS WHAT. We got to fly around a fire breather and his wife, a fire-eater! We haven't yet seen any other pilots presented with this opportunity — so this might be a first!
We met the two at Malice Haunted Attraction (if you haven't been yet, go!), and they graciously permitted us to get some of our signature astra-cinematic shots of their act. We're so stoked to share what we captured of these awesome folks!
MALICE: The Director's Cut (2021)
If you're looking for an easy-breezy fall walk through the backwoods of Belfast, Tennessee, TURN THE HECK AROUND! Malice Haunted Attraction AIN'T FOR YOU! As a couple of horror fiends, we were completely blown away by the attention to detail and the dedication of the actors at this local haunt! The experience is AUTHENTIC and TERRIFYING, and the tireless hours of work the crew has put in has rendered an experience you won't soon forget.
The coolest part about this project (other than working with such awesome folks!) was the creative freedom we were allowed — combining astra-cinematic shots with close-proximity flights through eerie scenes, as well as peppering in candid footage of a customer's true experience! We even got to write an original song!
Enjoy our sneak peak of the action below, but GO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF! Yes, you might have recurring nightmares of Chuckles Thaclown, but it's SO worth it! Shoot, we're ready to go back this Friday!

13th Annual Hammer Down for the Habitat!
Hail, Astralnauts! Today we had the privilege of hanging out with some incredible folks at the 13th Annual Hammer Down for Habitat Poker Run! Because of the rain, we were grounded for most of the day but were lucky (and determined!) enough to capture the spirit of the occasion.
The event kicked off at the Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity Murfreesboro,TN, then rambled on a 96 mile "Poker Run" to the United Farm & Home Co-op General Store, Arrington Vineyards, and Harley-Davidson of Columbia. We ended the long haul with a full hand at Hop Springs where those brave enough to weather the rain were rewarded with a hot meal from Zaxby's and a killer live music performance by Unfinished Business! Special shout out to Master of Ceremonies, Kevin Tetz with Paintucation!
Cheers to all of those who stuck out the rainy weather to fundraise for Habitat for Humanity and spread awareness of the need for more affordable housing in Rutherford County, Tennessee. You guys rock! We'll see y'all again next year!
