New Bethel Church is a small, friendly church in the small community of Bedford,
midway between Shelbyville and Lewisburg, Tn, across from Bedford Store.( We recommend you eat there sometime) Music is very spirited, preaching is Bible Teaching style, dress is casual and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

As we close out 2024, New Bethel was blessed to have the music ministries of Jeff Bates, Leon Everett, and Allen Frizzell. Also, Brother Bryan Smotherman hosted a Saturday night Gospel Singing ,for Advocates For Africa mission trip,that included him, By Faith, and Heartfelt Trio.

Thanks to Mr. Ray and Mrs. Donna, our youth are ready for the Christmas Parade. We had a few out sick but hope they can join us next year!

Everyone that pitched in and donated you gave someone a warmer night and some children a Christmas. Thank you so much. There is still a great need and will be for years. They need food,cleanings supplies, personal hygiene products. Now we start working on a load for spring. Again thank you. Thank you all for entrusting us to go it was very humbling.

Thanks to everyone that has donated to New Bethel Baptist Church to help on the trip to carry supplies to North Carolina, the toys, warm clothes, blankets, cleaning supplies, towels and linens and supplies that they are all in so much need for, and thank you Lamar Mitchell and Crystal Ward Mitchell for you trailer and to see it get there, prayers for you as you travel there and back.
