5 important tips ⬇️

Check the boxes on these 5 things before choosing a venue and vendors.

1. Budget - Your entire event relies heavily on this factor. Build a budget you can afford and search venues and vendors within your means. Remove financial stress so you can enjoy the planning process.

2. Guest list - once your budget is set, you can determine how many guests you want to invite and how many you can afford. Also, chat about if you will allow children, it’s a topic for discussion. Estimate a maximum 70% attendance and search venues based on that number.

3. Location - Where in the world are you getting married? Shelbyville? 😉 There are so many factors that play a role in this decision. Sometimes it’s proximity to family and friends or possibly it’s because of your budget. Or it’s based off of a recommendation or the amount of amenities a location has to offer. Either way, you want to be comfortable with the space you choose. Select venues that are most convenient for the majority of your group and YOU!

4. Accommodations- Once you have the 3 above items hammered down, check to see if there’s a place for guests to stay. Hosting an event doesn’t just mean celebrating the married couple. It’s courteous to arrange room blocks so your friends and family can stay all the way to the “I love you man” moment and have a place to sleep close by afterward.

5. Read reviews - Before you tour or interview a vendor, read the reviews. Not every vendor has
5 ⭐️’s across the board, but if you see longevity in experience and a majority of positive feedback, you can be confident in considering their services.
