Miss Christina started training at the age of 3 with her mother at Pieknik's School of Classical Ballet in San Diego, CA. When she was 14, she moved to San Francisco to study with the Christiansen brothers at the San Francisco Ballet School. She then moved to New York City to train with the National Academy of Ballet and Theatre Arts. While in New York, she studied Flamenco Dancing with Jose Greco

’s wife, piano with Vladimir Djuri, and jazz with Mr.Jones. From there she traveled throughout Europe taking classes and guest teaching in France, Greece, Italy and England. Christina has been teaching and choreographing Classical Ballet, Jazz and Creative Movement for over 30 years. She has owned several studios in Arizona, California and Nevada and was the head of the Ballet department of the Benny Smith Academy in San Jose, CA. She is also a certified pre-school director in the state of California.

Hi Everyone! You are all invited to a FREE Introductory Contemporary class at Pieknik's School of Dance( WYO Theater, 45 E Brundage ) Monday, July 29 or August 2 at 6 pm. No prior dance experience is needed but you must be at least 10 yrs old. Hope to see everyone there! Miss Christina

The Creative Movement class is getting ready for Visitor's Day. We have been practicing rhythm with the sticks, and learning body control by throwing our bean bags in the air (and mostly catching them). Sometimes we get a little goofy! But that's ok because we have so much fun.
