My favorite Christmas gift….Something old.What was your favorite Christmas gift this year?I posted several “meme’s” about giving handmade gifts, giving old meaningful things, or shopping local. I exchanged used books with 2 different friend groups, received yummy homemade goodies, smoked meats from Fischer’s Meat Market, framed family photos and these old Blue Willow spice shakers…And I have to say, this was my favorite Christmas ever. Every gift I gave was about experience. Picnic baskets, blankets and food for a fun picnic date was what we gifted our adult kids.The buildup of giving or receiving of the perfect gift is always so anticlimactic…I’m so thankful with age, I have discovered that the joy of Christmas is so much more and that…I truly hope you are ending your year with peace and joy, surrounded by friends and those you love!Thanks @trishdishner for this sweet gift!
